Silver Pin of Honor for Rolf Hollenbeck
A special moment of the evening was the presentation of the Silver Pin of Honor from the Oldenburg-International e.V. Show Jumping Horse Breeding Association to Rolf Hollenbeck from Bramsche.
Through his many years of dedication to breeding and his numerous successful show jumpers, Rolf Hollenbeck has rendered outstanding service to Oldenburg show jumping horse breeding. His breeding successes include, among others, the licensed stallions Lohengrin by Lord Pezi–Zeus and Lord Paul by Lord Pezi–Cordalme. Internationally successful sport horses such as Doolin Bay OLD by Diamant de Semilly–Contendro I and Lissabon by Lord Pezi–Baloubet du Rouet also come from his breeding program.
By awarding him the Silver Pin of Honor, the association recognized his exceptional contributions and his many years of dedication to Oldenburg show jumping breeding.
Dirk Demeersman in conversation with Christoph Rowold
Another highlight was the personal introduction of Dirk Demeersman as a new member of the OS Breeding Commission. In a conversation with First Chairman Christoph Rowold, the Belgian Olympic rider, speaking on the topic “Show Jumping Breeding Then and Now from the Perspective of an Olympic Rider,” provided insights into his many years of experience in international show jumping and his perspective on the development of modern show jumping breeding.
The agenda for the general meeting also included reports from the breeding management and Oldenburger Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH. There were no motions or further comments from the members.
The Oldenburg-International Show Jumping Breeding Association (Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International e.V.) would like to thank all members in attendance for their loyalty to the association and for the constructive exchange in Vechta.
