What a strong weekend for the Oldenburg horses at the German Youth Championships in Zeiskam. Both in the show jumping arena and the dressage arena, numerous Oldenburg horses and their young riders delivered outstanding performances and impressive placings.

Show Jumping:

Aperol Fritz, OS, born 2018, by Arezzo out of Berlin City Girl by Caspar, breeder: Guido Sperveslage, Dinklage, owner: Equinesport, and Tjade Carstensen secured eighth place overall in the German Young Riders Championship following outstanding performances.

Chacforkee, OS, born 2017, by Chaccato out of For Grande Gotthard by For Keeps, breeder: Werner Oeverhaus, Hasbergen, owner: Liz Doris Kögler, jumped to fourth place under Maximilian Kögler in an S** show jumping competition, the third qualifier, and finished ninth overall in the German Junior Championship. His half-brother Pedro by Pik Labionics has also celebrated victories at advanced level.

Cocochella J, OS, born 2015, by El.H. Cador out of Askara by Askari, breeder: Detlef Jürges, Saalfeld, owner: Detlef Jürges and Hendrik Greve, and Hendrik Greve secured bronze in the third qualifier, an S*** show jumping competition, and sixth place overall in the German Young Riders Championship. Her dam Askara produced the S-level successful Soxx by Saccor, Cörly Sue by Chap I, Caley J by Carpathos as well as Chances and Coachella by El.H. Cador.

Con Gold, born 2015, by Stakkato Gold out of St.Pr.St. Con Girl by Con Capitol, breeder: Kamil Dubiel, Poland, owner: Gestüt Sprehe GmbH, and Joelle Sprehe shone with bronze in the first qualifier, an M* show jumping competition, before securing silver overall in the German Children’s Championship. His dam Con Girl produced the two licensed stallions Bankimoon by Burberry, internationally placed at S*** level, and Star Connection by Stakkato Gold, as well as the S-level successful Gaffney by Gavi and Cup de Noir by Coupe de Coeur.

Manuel von der Söhr, OS, born 2018, by Manchester van’t Paradijs out of Starlight XIV by Stalypso - Piquet, breeder: Christian Schröder, Groß Wittensee, owner: Hof Söhr GbR, impressed under Tomma Thiesen with fourth place in the third qualifier, an S*** show jumping competition, and tenth place overall in the German Young Riders Championship.

Marie-Luise, OS, born 2009, by Forsyth out of Maronia by Feuerwerk, breeder: Sandra Rubly, Kleinbundenbach, owner: Familie Adliger, impressed with Benedikt Raab with fourth place in the third qualifier, an M** show jumping competition, as well as fourth place overall in the German Pony Championship. Her dam Maronia produced not only the two Elite Mares Mystic by Carolus I, successful at advanced level, and Micky Mouse by Landjunge, but also the S-level successful Mon Amour by Carolus I, Minou and Forest Gump by Forsyth.

Thabab, OS, born 2016, by Thagoras out of Arett by Argentinus, breeder and owner: Henrik Klatte, Lastrup, and Fiete Lindebaum finished fourth in an S* show jumping competition, the second qualifier for the Juniors.

Dressage:

Davina OLD, born 2015, by Blue Hors St. Schufro out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Desiree by Fidertanz - De Niro, breeder: Hubert Lambernd, Herten, owner: Janine Osterhoff, Herten, finished tenth under Marielen Theresa Osterhoff in the overall standings of the German Junior Championship. Her dam Desiree produced the licensed and S*-placed Valerioll by El.H. Vitalis.

Djamalla OLD, born 2016, by Don Romanov out of Mrs. Poppen by Sir Donnerhall I - Ehrentusch, breeder: Carsten Gebers, Winsen, owner: Therese and Björn-Uwe Mercker, finished ninth with Vivianne Mercker in the overall standings of the German Junior Championship. Djamalla began her career at the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta.

Feel Festival, born 2015, by Finest out of El./St.Pr.St. Dalai noir by Sandro Hit, breeder: Andreas Rumann, Delbrueck-Boke, owner: Rudolf Brinkmann, and Katharina Haverkamp finished seventh overall in the German Junior Championship. His dam Dalai noir paraded in the Brillantring at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede and also produced the Grand Prix-successful Dalai rubin S by Rubin-Royal.

Fille d’Or OLD, born 2017, by St. Schufro out of St.Pr.St. Fleche d’Or by Fidertanz - Don Schufro - Sandro Hit, breeder and owner: Mireille Segatz-Bunte, Lembruch, impressed under Birte Bunte with silver in the first qualifier, an M** dressage competition, as well as fourth place in the second qualifier and an M** Freestyle, and fourth place overall in the German Junior Championship. Her dam Fleche d’Or is the sister of the licensed Grand Prix winner Fiderdance by Fidertanz under Simone Pearce, AUS. Fille d’Or OLD was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium prospect, while her full sister Fleur d’or received the Verband Premium. This dam line has also produced, among others, the stallions Donatelli I and II by Donnerhall.

Foodfox’ For Gold OLD, born 2014, by Franziskus out of Weihcera by Zack - Don Schufro, breeder: Next Generation Dressurpferde der Zukunft GmbH, Köln, owner: Katharina Paschertz, finished ninth with Clara Paschertz in the overall standings of the German Young Riders Championship. His granddam is none other than multiple champion Weihegold OLD. For Gold OLD descends from the famous Weissena mare family, which has produced, among others, the licensed stallions Lux Dressage Statesman OLD by Stedinger, Inselfürst by Inschallah AA, Canaster I and II by Caprimond as well as Triumphator and Top of Class by Titus.

Freispiel, born 2011, by Feuerspiel out of Daisy Darling by Dream Of Glory, breeder: Karin Kröger, Schenefeld, owner: Eve Catherine Bartels, and Anna Schmieder led the lap of honour in an L* dressage rider competition and also secured silver and fourth place in further L* dressage rider competitions. They were also rewarded with silver overall in the Bundesnachwuchschampionat. His dam Daisy Darling produced the licensed Fantango OLD by Fidertanz, who is already successful at advanced level.

Mc Queen, born 2016, by Morricone I out of El./St.Pr.St. Chère Amie by San Amour, breeder: Dr. Gisa Loewe, Meyenburg, owner: Gerrit Collin, won bronze under Lilly Marie Collin in an S* dressage competition, the first qualifier for the Young Riders. Mc Queen was discovered under the name Mister Universe as part of the Special Edition Summer. He is the half-brother of Chère Celine OLD by Governor, who under Lena Haßmann finished in the top ten in the finals for five-, six- and seven-year-old dressage horses at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Her full sister Chère Cecile was awarded the Elite and Oldenburg Main Premium.

HP Tiramisu OLD, born 2014, by El.H. Fürstenball OLD out of El./St.Pr.St. Tiara by Florencio I, breeder: Lone Boegh-Henriksen, Denmark, owner: Janine Osterhoff, danced to fifth place with Maximilia Osterhoff in the first qualifier, an M** dressage competition, and sixth place overall in the German Junior Championship. HP Tiramisu was awarded Elite Mare and Oldenburg Main Premium Mare status and produced the Verband Premium mare Timian by El.H. Vitalis.

Faymoon, born 2012, by Feedback out of Fayienne by Rohdiamant, breeder: Gabriele Wörner, Eschborn, owner: Pia-Katharina Temme, and Martha Louisa Temme shone with bronze in an L* dressage rider competition and fifth place overall in the Bundesnachwuchschampionat. Her sister Faynaa by Licotus has celebrated victories in advanced-level dressage competitions.
