On German Unity Day, the Oldenburg Horse Centre Vechta will open its auction stage for the traditional Autumn Elite Auction. On Saturday, 3 October 2026, an exclusive collection of around 30 riding horses and 46 foals awaits an international audience. The collection is now online.
The versatile riding horse lot brings together carefully selected dressage and show jumping horses for a wide range of requirements. From promising young horses to already trained sport partners, the collection offers interesting candidates for ambitious sporting goals and individual wishes. From 23 September, the riding horses can be tried at the Oldenburg Horse Centre Vechta by prior telephone appointment.
The 46 Oldenburg foals also present themselves as promising young talents for sport and breeding. With sought-after pedigrees, the Autumn Elite Auction offers the final opportunity of the year to secure a selected young Oldenburg star on the auction stage in Vechta.
Pre-bidding begins on 30 September. Interested buyers can place their bids online ahead of the auction day and participate in the bidding process at an early stage.
Sport, Auction and Championship Party – The Programme in Vechta
The auction weekend gets off to a sporting start on Friday, 2 October: A dressage show with competitions up to S level will bring top-class dressage sport to the Oldenburg Horse Centre Vechta.
On Saturday, 3 October, the foals from the auction collection will be presented live at 11.00 a.m. Another sporting highlight will be the grand final of the OLD Masters powered by DERBY.
From 4.00 p.m., the stage will be set for the 106th Autumn Elite Auction with its selected riding horses and foals.
After the sport and auction, the weekend is far from over: On Saturday evening, guests will celebrate together at the traditional Championship Party. It will provide the social conclusion to a weekend centred around sport, breeding, sales and sharing the experience of the Oldenburg horse.
