At the latest stages of the DERBY Stars von Morgen, two Oldenburg dressage horses delivered particularly successful performances. Vaida-Girl OLD and Romantic Prinz OLD were each named the best Oldenburg horse at their respective stage.
At the Turnier der Sieger in Münster, Vaida-Girl OLD achieved a double success under Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock. After winning the warm-up competition, the pair also won the final qualifier and thereby secured their ticket for the final of the DERBY Stars von Morgen. The nine-year-old mare by Elite Stallion Vitalis out of the Elite and State Premium mare Stella Girl by Stedinger was bred by J. J. Blonk from Lienen and is owned by Ulrich Oberscheid.
Vaida-Girl OLD can already look back on further significant successes: In 2025, she won the final of the OLD Masters in Vechta and finished second in the final of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal.
Romantic Prinz OLD also impressed at the Fichtenhof Classics. The ten-year-old stallion by Rock Forever I out of Sevarce by Stedinger finished second under his owner Rudolf Widmann and was named the best Oldenburg horse of the stage. He was bred by Olga Pees from Warendorf.
The pair had already won both competitions at the opening stage of this year's series in Munich-Riem. As a three-year-old, the stallion had already attracted attention with silver at the Oldenburg State Championships and fifth place in the Bundeschampionat final.
