Oldenburg show jumpers have once again proven their class on the international stage. At the CSI***** in Brussels and the CSI**** in Gijón, numerous representatives of the Oldenburg show jumping breed earned ribbons in classes up to 1.55 meters. Particularly impressive performances came from Diatasio, who won the Youngster Tour with Richard Vogel, and Vivo de Muze PS, who took the bronze medal in an S*** jumping class with Max Kühner. In Gijón, Congress Blue PS and Robinson also shone with silver medals, while Ballypatrick Tiberius won a 1.55-meter class.
CSI***** Brussels, Belgium:
H5 Chaccophanie, OS, born 2011, by Chacco-Blue out of Stephanie by Grand Step, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Carlos Hank Gonzalez of Mexico, and ridden by Belgian rider Zoe Conter, placed thirteenth in a 1.55-meter jumping class. His dam, Stephanie, produced two other successful S-level offspring: Can Win by Canabis and Steve O by Cartogran.
Chageorge, OS, born 2015, by Chacco-Blue out of Savanna by Sanvaro, breeder: Lewitz Stud, B.: Lara Tryba, France, placed 14th in an S*** show jumping competition under the French rider Lara Tryba.
Charessino PS, OS, born 2016, by Chacoon Blue out of Caressilota by Caressini L, Breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owners: Charlotte Rossetter, Pamela Wright, placed sixth in a 1.45 m show jumping class under British rider Ben Maher. His granddam, Quick Lady, produced more than a dozen offspring successful up to the S***** level.
Cornet’s Dream, OS, born 2015, by Cornet’s Prinz out of Lucinda Jo by Nabab de Reve, breeder: Henrik Klatte, Lastrup, owner: Operadora Yeguadas Haras la Mexicana S.A. de C.V., Mexico, and Claudia Michel from Mexico placed 13th in an S* show jumping competition. Her dam, Lucinda Jo, produced the licensed and S-level successful A-One when paired with Armitage.
Diamanda, OS, born 2016, by El.H. Diarado out of Queen Amanda by Quinnus I, breeder: Peter Hoverath, Grevenbroich; owner: Kristina Klebanova, Poland, shone under Kristina Klebanova, placing fourth in an S** show jumping class. Her dam, Queen Amanda, is also the full sister to the S-level winner Dry Edition.
Diatasio, OS, born 2018, by Diaron out of Centiosa by Centadel; breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owners: Judith and Sönke Schmidt, celebrated victory with Richard Vogel in an S* show jumping class as part of the Youngster Tour.
Dorette OLD, born 2009, by Dollar Du Murier out of Foxy Brown by Fighting Alpha – Latus II – Ahorn Z – Cor de la Bryere, Breeder: Stefan Leue, Rottstock, owner: Ashford Farm BV, Belgium, Jana Wargers, and Brazilian rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli impressed by placing sixth in an S*** show jumping competition. Her brother Sherlock Holmes by Stalypso is also successful internationally in the advanced class.
Emerlon, OS, born in 2017, by Emerald van het Ruytershof out of Cassinis Toulonia by Toulon, breeder: Henning Kranz, Rethem, owner: Chansonette Farm LLC, USA, placed ninth in an S*** show jumping competition under American rider Lillie Keenan.
My Miss Marple OLD, OS, born in 2014, by Mylord Carthago out of Contendra by Contender, breeder: Heinz Meyer, Verden, owner: Renate Weber, won silver with Paula de Boer-Schwarz in an S* show jumping class and was pleased with a tenth-place finish in an S** show jumping class. The elite mare My Miss Marple OLD was discovered in 2019 at the Fall Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta and has already given birth to Chapman by Chacoon-Blue, who was sold for a high price as a foal at the 2023 Fall Elite Auction. Her dam, Contendra, produced the licensed stallion Quidam’s Adel when paired with Quidam de Revel; he is just as successful in advanced show jumping as his half-sister, Messi’s Lady by Messenger.
Stagoldesso PS, OS, born 2017, by Stakkatol out of Goldpalme by Kannan, bred by: Lewitz Stud, owners: Mf Sport Horses and Marco Antonio Peixoto Ferreira Filho from Colombia, placed fourth in an S* show jumping competition. His dam, Goldpalme, produced Stakkatan, Stagolda, Stan by Stakkatol, as well as Cornnan by Cornet’s Balou and Mekanno PS by Messenger, all of whom are successful in advanced show jumping.
Vintage, OS, born 2018, by Vagabond de la Pomme out of Ilona by Numero Uno, breeder: Böckmann Pferde GmbH, Lastrup, Owners: Stal Bruynseels and Paul Schockemöhle, Belgium, took twelfth place under Belgian rider Niels Bruynseels in a 1.45 m jumping competition as part of the Youngster Tour. Vintage was licensed at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta.
Vivo de Muze PS, OS, born 2016, by Vivant van de Heffinck out of Filou’s Lady by Filou de Muze, Breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Owners: Luigi Baleri, Max Kühner, MK Sporthorses Max Kühner, impressed by taking the bronze medal in an S*** show jumping class under the Austrian rider Max Kühner.

Congress Blue PS, OS, born 2017, by Congress out of Cosena by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Ecurie Fape, Belgium, and Tom Schewe took silver in a 1.55 m show jumping class. His dam, Cosena, also produced the S-level successful horses Cocosse PS and Coseno-Blue PS by Conthargos.
Robinson, OS, born 2013, by Chintan out of Conthenara by Conthargos, breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owner: La Sella Srl, celebrated a silver medal with Castora Ortiz Agüera from Spain in an S** show jumping competition. Conthenara is a half-sister to the licensed Chadino by Chacco-Blue and Charewo PS by Chacoon Blue, as well as to Carisma by Charriol—who has been successful in advanced show jumping—Chadino, and Chacna by Chacco-Blue.
Ballypatrick Tiberius, OS, born in 2016, by Caligula out of Messicina by Messenger, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Gaspard Maksud, Jane Young, and Laura Smith, triumphed in a 1.55-meter show jumping class under British rider Harry Charles.
