At the CSI***** in Bridgehampton, USA, World Cup champion Greya claimed victory in the Grand Prix. Many other Oldenburg show jumpers impressed with wins and placings in the other classes.
Chelsea, 2015, by El.H. Cador out of Laudana by Laudabilis, bred by: Angelina Rahn, Gescher; owner: Live Oak Plantation LLC, USA; and Chloe D. Reid secured 14th place in an S** jumping class. Her dam, Laudana, has also produced three offspring successful in S-level dressage: Dunhill by Delamanga, Lonely Times, and Lybella La by Lord Loxley.
First Lady, OS, born 2013, by Don Diarado out of Love Dream by Lordanos – Landadel – Frühlingstraum, breeder: Benno and Anja Vahrmann, Meppen; owner: Robin Cleary Parsky, USA—rode to victory under American rider McLain Ward in a 1.55-meter show jumping class and placed fourth in an S*** show jumping class. Under the name Dia Light, the mare enjoyed great success with Justine Tebbel in young horse jumping competitions. Her dam, Love Dream, is the full sister of the licensed stallion Light On OLD (by René Tebbel), who was successful at the 1.60 m level.
Greya, OS, born 2014, by Colestus out of Contessa (by Contender) – Landkaiser, breeders: Wilfried Sandmann, Hüven; owner: Kent Farrington LLC, USA—led the victory lap in the Grand Prix, a 1.60-meter show jumping class, with American rider Kent Farrington. Her dam, Contessa, was highly successful in S-level show jumping classes herself and also produced Louis by Levisonn, who was successful in S-level show jumping.
Rexton, OS, born in 2017, by Diaron out of Chayonda Girl by Chacco-Blue, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Kent Farrington LLC, USA, and American rider Kent Farrington placed twelfth in an S** show jumping competition.
Toulonia, OS, born 2016, by Toulon out of Armonie by Cassus, breeder: Andy Hermann, Belgium, owner: Voquest LLC, impressed under American rider Ashley Vogel, placing sixth in an S** show jumping competition and seventh in a 1.50 m show jumping class. Her granddam, I-Carina I, produced the internationally S****-placed Quanto by Quidam de Revel as well as the S-level successful Cordial by Caretino.
Viva Pleasure PS, OS, born 2016, by Vivant van de Heffinck out of Champina by Champion For Pleasure, breeder: Lewitz Stud, owner: 5 Star Partners, placed 13th in an S*** show jumping competition with American rider Alex Matz. Her dam, Champina, gave birth to Cornettina by Cornet’s Balou, who placed at the international S** level, as well as Chatauro’s Light PS by Chacoon Blue, a winner at the S* level.
