The Oldenburgs once again showed themselves in brilliant form on Saturday at the National Championships in Warendorf: Gold, silver, and bronze went to horses bearing the Oldenburg “brand.”

S**-Level Jumping Competition – Final for Seven-Year-Old Show Jumpers:

Alice, OS, born 2019, by Armison out of Chwupdiwup by Cellestial, breeders: Marble u.More SRL/Giovanni Barzaghi, Italy, trainer: Marc Idelmann, secured fifth place with Markus Renzel. Alice was awarded the OS main premium qualification as part of her mare performance test.

Dr. Don, OS, born 2019, by Don VHP Z out of El./St.Pr.St. Cassina by Catoki, breeders: Esther and Lothar Scholl, Königswinter, trainer: Tobias Kunze, and Marvin Jüngel won the bronze medal. Dr. Don was licensed. When paired with Zirocco Blue, Cassina also gave birth to Zita, an OS main premium mare.

Ubiko, OS, born 2019, by Uriko out of Quanah d’Alêne by Quality, breeder: Ingo Klassen, Plütscheid, owner: Vogel & Will Equestrian GmbH, took silver under Sophie Hinners.

M**-level show jumping class – second qualification round for six-year-old show jumpers:

Chacooretto PS, OS, born 2020, by Chaccon Blue out of Windorette by Cornet Obolensky, breeder and owner: Gestüt Lewitz, celebrated victory with Frank Wieland. In addition to Chacooretto PS, his dam Windorette produced the licensed young stallion Chilensky by Chintan, who is now enjoying success in advanced show jumping.

Challasco Blue PS, OS, born 2020, by Chacoon Blue out of Casallorette PS by Casallco, bred and trained by: Lewitz Stud, and Patrick Stühlmeyer were delighted with second place. Challasco Blue PS was licensed.

Dia Lady PS, OS, born 2020, by Diaron OLD out of Chacoon’s Carilota PS by Chacoon Blue, Breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owner: K & K Windows Ltd, placed fourth under Cait Kenny.

Dialanda PS, OS, born 2020, by Diaron OLD out of Grünes Land by Lando, bred and owned by Gestüt Lewitz, took fifth place with Matilda Navren. Her dam, Grünes Land, also gave birth to Quincy by Quintender and Eldoranda by Eldorado van de Zeshoek, both of whom have enjoyed international S***-level success.

Electra, OS, born in 2020, by Eldorado vd Zeshoek out of Bellamour by Balou du Rouet, breeder: Gestüt Westfalenhof, Gehring Gbr, Steinhagen, owner: Gestüt Westfalenhof, and Sven Sudhölter shone in third place. In addition to the licensed stallion Vigo by Valeron, dam Bellamour has produced the internationally S**-successful Atreju by Arpeggio, the S*-placed Chicago by C-Trenton Z, and the equally S*-successful Valentina by Vancouver d’Auvray.

Jackie’s Girl OLD, OS, born 2020, by El.H. Diarado out of El./St.Pr.St. Jackie by Argentinus – Zeus, breeder and owner: Peter Wendeln, Garrel, impressed in third place under Kai Thomann. Jackie’s Girl OLD paraded in the Brillantring at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede, where she was awarded the 1d premium. Her dam, Jackie, produced a premium stallion at the Oldenburg Stallion Show in Vechta when paired with Cashmoaker. His full sister, Jackie Cash, is already successful in S* show jumping.

The OS Champion Virginia OLD, OS, born in 2020, by Chacoon Blue out of OSHPr Vivian by Vivant van de Heffinck, breeder: Harm Oncken, Sande; owner: Isabel Gomez Gonzalez, Steinfeld, impressed in second place with Ruben Arroyave. Her dam, Vivian, has already produced two Oldenburg Grand Premium mares: Valentina by Chacfly PS and Valencia Blue by Chaccothage Blue.

Class S Dressage Test – Small Final for Seven-Year-Old Dressage Horses:

Elfensymphonie YD OLD, born 2019, by El.H. Vitalis out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Elfenstern by El.H. Fürstenball OLD, breeder: Caroline van Zele, owner: Yvonne Draheim and Markus von Holdt, was awarded third place. As part of her performance test, the mare was awarded Oldenburg’s main premium qualification. Her granddam, El./St.Pr.St. Elfensonne by Sion, produced the licensed and Grand Prix-winning Dimanche Royal NG by De Niro, the internationally Grand Prix-placed Elfenfeuer by Florencio I, and the S*-winning De Luxe by De Niro.

Noble Secret OLD, born in 2019, by Secret out of El./St.Pr.St. Nussini by Sunny-Boy, breeder: Jürgen Osterloh, Dötlingen, owner: Bernadette Brune, led the victory lap under Leonie Richter. Noble Secret OLD was awarded Oldenburg’s main premium qualification and was sold for a top price at the Fall Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta.

Class L Dressage Test – Final for Five-Year-Old Dressage Horses:

Louboutin, born 2021, by Las Vegas out of Vb.Pr.St. Funky Jane by Feinrich, breeder: Eva Krijnen, Steinfeld, owner: Julia de Ridder, placed fourth with Ricarda Mombach.

Class A Dressage Test – Final for Four-Year-Old Dressage Horses:

Emma Gold OLD, born in 2022, by Bon Vivaldi NRW out of E./Vb.Pr.St. Edelrose by Rohdiamant, breeder: Heinz Ahlers, Hatten, owners: C. Thurner/M. Gehrmann, and Moritz Gehrmann, took fifth place. Emma Gold was awarded the Main Premium Candidate status as part of her mare performance test and paraded in the Brilliant Ring at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede. Her dam also produced the OL Main Premium Candidates Ember Gold, Extragold OLD, and Escala Gold OLD, all by Belissimo M.

Pommery Look OLD, born in 2022, by Florida TN out of El./St.Pr.St. Pandora by Sir Donnerhall-Lavauzelle AA-Inschallah AA, bred and owned by Christine Arns-Krogmann, Lohne, danced her way to victory under Alina Schneider and was crowned National Champion. Last year, this noble daughter of the 2020 Reserve Champion stallion was awarded the 1c premium at the Elite Mare Show. Her dam, El./St.Pr.St. Pandora, was awarded the 1e prize in the Brillantring at the 2011 Elite Mare Show. She produced the licensed stallions Don de Niro by De Niro, Filou by For Romance I, First Man by For Romance II, and a son of Viva Gold OLD. Her daughter Passion by Grey Flanell was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium qualification and is now successful in Class S dressage competitions, as is Perla Negra by Negro.
