On Friday as well, Oldenburg show jumping and dressage horses secured numerous top placements. Their successful performance ranged from victories and podium finishes to other outstanding results.
Class S Dressage Test – Final Qualification for Seven-Year-Old Dressage Horses:
Calysta, born in 2019, by Blue Hors Zackerey out of the elite mare D-Cassina by Johnson TN, bred and trained by Dominik and Rahel Epping, took fourth place under Greta Busacker. In 2022, Calysta earned the Oldenburg Main Premium qualification as part of her mare performance test. Her dam, D-Cassina, also produced Verrenberg by Vilancio, a winner at the international **** level.
Found Gody PS, born in 2019, by El.H. Foundation out of Valarina PS by Vivaldi – Fürst Romancier, bred and owned by Gestüt Lewitz, celebrated victory with Ellen Richter. His dam, Valarina PS, has won dressage competitions at the S* level. Her son, Fascination by Fynch Hatton, was licensed. Granddam Fasine OLD was an Oldenburg Champion Mare, National Champion, and a winner in S-level dressage.
Segafredo, born in 2019, by Secret out of El./St.Pr.St. Feine Freude by Sandro Hit – Donnerhall, breeder: Marco Trier, Schlitz; owner: Achim Frenzen, placed seventh with Dr. Annabel Frenzen. His half-brother Glenn Flanell by Grey Flanell is successful in S* dressage classes, while his half-sister Fleur d’Amour T by Ibiza paraded in the Brillantring at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede.
Zuccador QD, born 2019, by Zenon out of Kolonia/Trak. by Lauries Crusador xx – Connery, Breeder: Hof Kasselmann, Hagen, Rider: Angie Qin, and Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer were delighted with third place.
Riding Horse Class – Qualification for Four-Year-Old Stallions:
La Paix, born 2022, by La Vie out of the Elite Mare Rioja by Sir Donnerhall I – Rubinstein I, breeder: Dr. Katharina Paschertz, Cloppenburg, owner: Helgstrand Dressage, Denmark, secured third place under Vanessa Crnadak. In January of last year, La Paix was crowned the outstanding Oldenburg Champion Stallion. His brother is the famous 2015 Oldenburg Champion Stallion, Bonds by Benicio, who has enjoyed success in S-level dressage under Beatrice Hoffrogge. His dam, El.St. Rioja, also gave birth to the Oldenburg main premium candidates La Primavera by La Vie, Escolioja by El.H. Escolar, and the Brillantring mare Granacha by Glamourdale. The line also produced the Grand Prix-successful Fabienne, ridden by Isabell Werth.
Riding Horse Class – Qualification for Four-Year-Old Mares and Geldings:
Pommery Look OLD, born 2022, by Florida TN out of El./St.Pr.St. Pandora by Sir Donnerhall-Lavauzelle AA-Inschallah AA, bred and owned by Christine Arns-Krogmann, Lohne, led the lap of honor with Alina Schneider. Last year, this noble daughter of the 2020 Reserve Champion stallion was awarded the 1c premium at the Elite Mare Show. Her dam, El./St.Pr.St. Pandora, was awarded the 1e prize in the Brillantring class at the 2011 Elite Mare Show. She produced the licensed stallions Don de Niro by De Niro, Filou by For Romance I, First Man by For Romance II, and a son of Viva Gold OLD. Her daughter Passion by Grey Flanell was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium qualification and is now competing successfully in Class S dressage tests, as is Perla Negra by Negro.
Class S** Jumping Competition – Final for Eight-Year-Olds and Older Horses:
Casino Grande, born 2012, by Casino Berlin out of Baccara by Contact Me – Landadel, breeder and owner: Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder, took bronze under Hendrik Sosath. In 2014, Casino Grande was named second reserve champion at his licensing at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta. The following year, he completed his 30-day test with record-breaking scores, including a 10.0 for jumping ability and canter. In 2016, following several victories in show jumping competitions and his outstanding first crop of foals, he was honored as the Reserve Winner of the Main Premium by the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association. His granddam is the Elite mare Bold-Fantasy. She also produced the former Oldenburg Champion Stallion and prominent dressage sire Stedinger by Sandro Hit—who competed successfully in dressage up to Intermediaire I—as well as the licensed stallion Donninger by Donnerschwee.
M*-Level Show Jumping Competition – Second Qualifying Round for Five-Year-Old Show Jumpers:
Chacco Grande, OS, born 2021, by Chacoon Blue out of Cinderella by Casanova, breeder: Ulrike Sawadka, Lohne, owner: Paul Schockemöhle Pferdehaltung GmbH, rode to victory with Patrick Stühlmeyer. Chacco Grande was licensed in Ankum in 2024.
Corny T, OS, born 2021, by Cornet’s Carpaccio RT out of Viona by C-Indoctro, breeder: Richard Theurer, Lütjensee, owner: Richard and Andreas Theurer, and Marvin Jüngel, impressed the judges to take third place. The dam, competing under the name JK Horsetrucks Special Edition, racked up victories up to the intermediate class. Her daughters, Lady Theurer by Los Angeles and Lightness T by Like Angel, are successful in international advanced show jumping.
Fleur’s Indie, OS, born 2021, by For Planet out of Fleur Vanzet by C-Indoctro, bred and owned by Matthes Rodenbäck, Bramsche, was rewarded with second place under Sophie Hinners.
Stakkariello PS, OS, born 2021, by Stakkato out of Corialla by Chacco-Blue, bred and trained by Gestüt Lewitz, impressed with a third-place finish under Emilia Löser. His two full siblings, Stariallo Blue PS and Storiall Blue, have already placed in international advanced-level show jumping competitions.
