At the CSI***** GCT London in the United Kingdom, numerous Olympic horses delivered strong results. In the Grand Prix in particular, several pairs held their own among the international elite: Ballypatrick Tiberius and Harry Charles took the bronze, while Chalou’s Love PS with Emanuele Gaudiano placed eleventh and Chacco’s Lando OL with Niels Bruynseels placed thirteenth. There were also numerous top placings, including podium finishes, in the other high-level show jumping classes.
H5 Chaccophanie, OS, born 2011, by Chacco-Blue out of Stephanie by Grand Step, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Carlos Hank Gonzalez, Mexico, and the Belgian rider Zoe Conter placed tenth in an S***** show jumping class. His dam, Stephanie, produced two more S-level successful offspring: Can Win by Canabis and Steve O by Cartogran.
Chacco’s Lando OL, OS, born 2013, by Chacco-Blue out of the elite mare Leonie Landa by Lando, breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owner: P. Sultan Saud, United Arab Emirates, placed 13th in the Grand Prix, an S***** show jumping competition, under Belgian rider Niels Bruynseels. His dam, Leonie Landa, is also the dam of the S-level successful Cartolana by Cartogran and Casira by Caressini L.
Chageorge, OS, born 2015, by Chacco-Blue out of Savanna by Sanvaro, Breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Owner: Lara Tryba, France, shone with French rider Lara Tryba, taking the bronze medal in an S*** show jumping competition.
Chalou’s Love PS, OS, born 2012, by Diablo Blanco (Chacco Lover) out of Gambella by Conterno-Grande, breeder: Lewitz Stud Farm, owner: Anna Christina Gansauer, and the Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano were delighted to take silver in an S***** show jumping class as well as eleventh place in the Grand Prix, an S***** show jumping class.
Comcador OLD, OS, born 2015, by El.H. Comme il faut out of Aypicarda by Duke of Hearts xx - Picard, breeder: Karl-Heinz Auffarth, Ganderkesee, owners: Nikolaus Prinz von Croy and Michael Viehof, placed ninth under Sandra Auffarth in an S** show jumping competition.
Cosmo von Imhoff, OS, born 2016, by Cornet Obolensky out of Chamandra GP by Chepetto, breeder and owner: Angela Imhoff, Landshut, was awarded silver in an S** show jumping class with Maximilian Weishaupt.
H5 Diachango Blue PS, OS, born 2017, by Diaron OLD out of Changa by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Lewitz Stud, owner: H5 Sport Horses LLC, and Mexican rider Carlos Hank Guerreiro placed 13th in an S**** show jumping competition. His half-brother Conchango PS by Conthargos is also successful at the S level.
Krokant, OS, born 2013, by Kannan out of Last Vegas by Loran, breeder: Andrea Houston, Leichlingen, owner: Beerbaum Stables GmbH, and Sheikh Fahad Jassim H K Al Thani from Qatar placed ninth in an S* jumping competition and twelfth in an S** jumping competition. His grandmother, Samanta, paired with Million Dollar, produced McGyver—who has achieved success at the S*** level—for Michael G. Duffy.
Luke Lemon, OS, born in 2013, by Lord Pezi Junior out of Concorlina by Cornet Obolensky – Pavs L, breeder: Antonius Schulze Averdiek, Rosendahl, owner: Jennifer Carmichael, Great Britain, impressed under Tess Carmichael from Great Britain with a tenth-place finish in an S** show jumping class, as well as eleventh place in an S* show jumping class and another S** show jumping class.
Stardust, OS, born 2010, by Chacco-Blue out of Ginny Air by Con Air – Concetto, breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owners: Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein and Peter Charles, impressed with Sienna Charles, placing eighth in an S** show jumping competition.
Ballypatrick Tiberius, OS, born 2016, by Caligula out of Messicina by Messenger, Breeder: Lewitz Stud, Owners: Gaspard Maksud, Jane Young, Laura Smith, and Harry Charles impressed by taking the bronze medal in the Grand Prix, an S***** show jumping competition, as well as finishing sixth in an S***** show jumping class.
