At the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association’s delegates’ meeting on Monday, August 3, 2026, the delegates set the course for the association’s future. After five years as president, Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff did not seek reelection. The delegates elected Marco Pundsack as the new first chairman of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association.

Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff had led the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association since 2021. During his tenure, numerous initiatives were launched and important decisions were made for the association’s future. The board, delegates, and staff thanked him for his great personal commitment, his foresight, and his tireless dedication to Oldenburg horse breeding.

With Marco Pundsack, a long-standing and dedicated board member is taking over the leadership of the association. In doing so, the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association is prioritizing continuity and close collaboration within the board.

In addition to the election of the new First Chairman, the agenda also included the election of a new board member. The delegates elected Merle von Wedel to the board of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association.
