A dazzling debut, a stage for the stars of tomorrow, and a collection that leaves nothing to be desired: With the “KUP meets Oldenburg – Elite Jumping Foals Auction,” the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association is celebrating a promising debut on Friday, August 7, as part of the new “KUP Family & Sports” tournament in Ehlersdorf.

Among the outstanding young prospects is Cat. No. 5, Chilly Gotha, born May 20, 2026, by Chacco Lover out of Charming Gotha by Colestus-Goldfever I-Prestige Pilot, bred and owned by: Mark Oude Griep, Netherlands—a powerful and modern daughter of Chacco Lover (riding name Diablo Blanco), who was successful up to 1.60 meters. Through her dam, Charming Gotha by Colestus—who is on everyone’s lips thanks to the Grand Prix series winner Greya—her pedigree leads directly to one of the most successful mares in international show jumping: Gotha FRH was a European Team Champion, won at the highest level, and was among the most successful show jumpers of her generation for years. Her dam produced five other offspring successful in advanced show jumping—ideal prerequisites for a promising future.

No less impressive is Cat. No. 6 Empire, born May 18, 2026, by Ermitage Kalone out of Pelvira by Comme il faut NRW-Diamant De Semilly-Libero, bred by: Hof Brüning, Bruchhausen-Vilsen—an ultra-modern stallion prospect by Ermitage Kalone, the European Team Champion and individual bronze medalist. Empire combines this top-class bloodline with a high-caliber dam line that has produced numerous licensed stallions and internationally successful show jumpers. His dam is a sister to Israel, who was successful at the 1.45 m level, while his granddam is a sister to the licensed Clint by Clinton, the 1.45 m-successful SIEC Zeus, and Ursula—dam of the licensed Malibu Z by Mr. Blue and the 1.60 m-successful Belinda. The third dam is also a sister to the sire Numero Uno, who enjoyed international success under Marco Kutscher. Line 429 also produced Gipsy Love, who was successful at the 1.60 m level.

On Friday, August 7, the auction day begins at 1:00 p.m. with the presentation of the auction foals. The auction starts at 9:00 p.m. as part of the KUP Familie & Sports tournament in Ehlersdorf. Those who invest in these exceptional young talents may be securing tomorrow’s champion today.
