With gold, silver and bronze medals as well as further top placings, Oldenburg show jumping horses presented themselves at their best at the European Championships for Juniors, Young Riders and Children in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. Whether in the team competitions or the individual finals, the young riders and their Oldenburg sport partners impressed with consistently strong performances and once again underlined the international competitiveness of Oldenburg show jumping breeding.
Baltic Love, OS, born 2013, by Balou du Rouet out of Wiadorina by Lancer II, breeder: Rudolf Meyer, Emstek, owner: Josef Meuwissen, and Albert Pisarik from the Czech Republic impressed by winning the silver medal in the Junior Final. Baltic Love, who was discovered at the Elite Foal Auction, was awarded the Verbandsprämie as part of her mare performance test.
Casamara Blue PS, OS, born 2016, by El.H. Casallco out of Caremara by Chacco Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Sportpferde Blum GmbH & Co.KG, placed sixth under Ina Maria Bojita from Romania in the Children Individual Final after four clear rounds. Half-brother Stuck on Blue by Stakkatol is successful in international advanced-level show jumping classes.
Chacco's Girl, OS, born 2011, by Chacco-Blue out of Centora by Cento, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owners: Hagenhorst Horses BV and Karel Cox, Belgium, celebrated winning the bronze medal in the Young Riders competition together with Paris Vandousselaere and the Belgian team. Her half-brother Come Undone one by Chacco-Blue is an international S* winner.
Conni Contouet PS, OS, born 2016, by Cornet du Lys out of Chacca Contouet by Chacco-Blue, breeder and owner: Gestüt Lewitz, and Nora Andersson from Sweden jumped to eighth place in the individual ranking as well as eleventh place in a 1.40 m class, the first qualifier for the Juniors. Her brother Coblue PS by Cornet Obolensky placed in the Hamburg Derby this year.
Special Summer, OS, born 2017, by I’m Special de Muze out of Sommerwind by Seidon, breeder: J. Saaltink, Netherlands, owner: Michael Rowland, Great Britain, won gold under Charlie Barker from Great Britain together with the British team after two clear rounds and finished 17th in the first qualifier for the Children, a 1.25 m class.
Starlinda, OS, born 2015, by Stakkato Gold out of Callinda Z by Calvin, breeder: Albert Sprehe, Essen, owner: Gestüt Sprehe GmbH, Löningen, won bronze in the Children competition together with Joelle Sprehe and the German team. In the first qualifier, a 1.25 m class, they also finished twelfth and placed 14th in the Individual Final. Her brothers Solid Gold by Stakkato Gold and Cevin Costner by Chico's Boy are licensed and attract attention in international advanced-level show jumping classes. She also produced the two Staatsprämienstuten Seicalla by Seidon, who is also victorious in advanced-level show jumping classes and is an Elitestute, and Chicalinda by Chico's Boy.
