At the CDI*** in Görlitz, the Oldenburg dressage horses once again presented themselves in outstanding form. From the qualifiers for the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal and the DERBY Stars of Tomorrow series to the international Grand Prix classes, they collected victories as well as silver and bronze placings.
Bacchabundus OLD, born 2018, by Baron out of elite and state premium mare Donna Diana by Dimaggio – Oldtimer xx, breeder: Gudula Vorwerk-Happ, Cloppenburg, owner: Dr Beate Rickert, and Lena Hassmann were rewarded with silver in a St. Georges Special, the qualifier for the final qualification of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal. His dam Donna Diana was a celebrated top-priced auction horse in Vechta and was successful up to Intermediaire I under Julia-Katharina von Platen.
Maxi Kraft’s Barcelo OLD, born 2016, by Bon Coeur out of Atterupgaards Dicte by Caprimond/T. – Donnerhall – Pik Bube I, breeder: Kristine Munch Nielsen, Denmark, owner: Maik Kanitzky, and Dorothee Schneider led the laps of honour in an Intermediaire II, the warm-up class for the semi-final qualifier of the DERBY Stars of Tomorrow series, as well as in an S*** dressage class, the qualification for the semi-final. In 2022, Barcelo OLD became Bundeschampion of the six-year-old dressage horses under Tessa Frank. Dam Atterupgaards Dicte produced the licensed stallions Botticelli by Benetton Dream, a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five- and six-year-old under Severo Jurado Lopez, Fassbinder by Fürst Heinrich and Seebach by Sandro Hit. She is also the sister of Atterupgaards Cassidy by Caprimond Trakehner, Olympic horse and bronze medallist at the 2017 European Championships in Gothenburg under Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour. Barcelo OLD was licensed in Vechta in 2018.
Chere Celine OLD, born 2017, by Governor out of elite and state premium mare Chere Amie by San Amour I – Fürst Heinrich, breeder: Gestüt Meyenburg, Dr Gisa and Günther Löwe, Meyenburg, owner: Dr Gisa Löwe, Meyenburg, piaffed to bronze in a Grand Prix under Lena Hassmann. Chere Celine OLD already finished in the top ten at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as both a five- and six-year-old. Dam and Champion Mare Chere Amie is the sister of Rubin De Luxe, successful at Intermediaire I level with Ulf-Peter König. Bred to Morricone, she produced Mc Queen, successful up to Intermediaire A, who, under his auction name Mister Universe, became the celebrated top-priced lot of the 3rd Oldenburg Online Special Edition. Third dam Cileste II is the sister of Grand Prix horse Donner Hit OLD with Ellen Bodenkamp and belongs to the famous Welt Hit dynasty.
Da Vinci Code, born 2014, by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD out of Katalania by Fidertanz, breeder: Dirk Hoffmann, Wolfsburg, owner: Constanze Bubeck, and Johanna Bubeck shone with bronze in a Prix St Georges.
Donna’s Romanova vL, born 2014, by Romanov Blue Hors out of elite mare Donna Annastasia by Blue Hors Don Schufro, breeder: van Loon Breeding Partnership, Mandelbachtal, owner: Dr Katharina Meisner, impressed under Ann-Christin Wienkamp with silver in both an Intermediaire A and an Intermediaire II. Her siblings Fabregaz vL by elite stallion Fürstenball, Bentley vL by elite stallion Bordeaux and Donna’s Viardot vL by Valverde are also successful at advanced level.
Fürst Enno, born 2013, by Fürst Romancier out of state premium mare Warga by Sir Donnerhall I – Akzent II, breeder: Astrid Brabant-Stahl, Ahrensburg, owner: Ira Christina Welding, triumphed in a Grand Prix Freestyle with Juliane Brunkhorst. His older brother Barrymore by Belissimo M is also internationally successful at Grand Prix level under Ants Bredemeier.
Matisse GG OLD, born 2017, by Morricone I out of Debbie by Blue Hors Don Olymbrio, breeder: Muriel Leontine Blackstone-Rosie, Riesenbeck, owners: Dirk Wilhelm Rosie and Muriel Leontine Blackstone-Rosie, and Carina Scholz danced to silver in a St Georges Special, the final qualifier for the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal. Matisse GG OLD was licensed.
Morinello, born 2018, by Morricone I out of elite and state premium mare Daytona by Donnerschwee, breeder: Andrea Grafin von Merveldt, Vechta, owner: Hof Kasselmann GmbH & Co. KG, impressed under the US american Jennifer Hoffmann with silver in a Prix St. Georges. Daytona also produced the licensed stallion Füchtels Exupéry by Escamillo and the advanced-level successful Füchtels To Limit OLD by Top Gear.
Vaderland OLD, born 2016, by elite stallion Vitalis out of Vechta by Krack C – Contango, breeder: Reesink Pferde GmbH, Borken, owner: Gestüt Brune, Westerstede, impressed with Bernadette Brune, taking bronze in an Intermediaire II, the warm-up class for the semi-final qualifier of the DERBY Stars of Tomorrow series, as well as in an S*** dressage class, the qualification for the semi-final. Dam Vechta also produced the internationally Grand Prix-successful Impressive VDC by Charmeur under Britain’s Sarah Millis. Vaderland’s dam line also produced the licensed stallion Heros Begijnhoeve by Vivaldi and Fanatique Begijnhoeve by Tuschinski, successful at Intermediaire I level with the Netherlands’ Tommie Visser.
Zapzarap, born 2014, by elite stallion Zonik out of Boccia by elite stallion Bordeaux, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Hof Kasselmann GmbH & Co. KG, and Belgium’s Jennifer Reimer were awarded silver in a Grand Prix Freestyle. Dam Boccia produced the licensed stallion Bluetooth PS by Bon Coeur as well as another licensed son by elite stallion Foundation. Her son Brioso AM by Bretton Woods is also successful at advanced level.
