At the CSIO*****/CDIO***** in Falsterbo, Sweden, Oldenburg horses once again proved themselves reliable performers at the highest international level. With victories in both the dressage arena and the show jumping ring, as well as numerous top placings, they once again demonstrated their outstanding international quality.
Dressage
Dantes Specter, born 2015, by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD out of Elite/State Premium mare La Donna S by Donnerball, breeder: Bernhard Schrapper, Grönheim, owner: JW Dressyr AB, Sweden, and Sweden's Ebba von Essen claimed bronze in a three-star Grand Prix and finished fourth in the Freestyle. Dam La Donna S was presented at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede. She also produced the licensed stallion Lowlands OLD, Oldenburg Main Premium candidate Marcella by Marc Cain, and Simsalabim OLD by Sean Connery, a Grand Prix winner and former European Young Riders Championship competitor.
Fiderdance, born 2009, by Fidertanz out of Donna by Don Schufro – Sandro Hit, breeder: Ekkehard Friedrich, Melle, owner: Gestüt Bonhomme GmbH & Co. KG, Werder, piaffed to team bronze with Germany in the Nations Cup under Moritz Treffinger, before finishing fifth in the Freestyle and seventh in the five-star Grand Prix. The licensed stallion was sold to Gestüt Bonhomme at the 2011 Vechta Stallion Auction. His dam line also produced the influential stallions Donatelli I and Donatelli II by Donnerhall.
Flash Gordon, born 2014, by Fiderbach out of Verband Premium mare Waldessa by Don Romantic, breeder: Jan Lüder Cornelius, Edewecht, owner: Ninja Rathjens, celebrated victory with the Danish team in the Nations Cup and won the Grand Prix Special under Daniel Bachmann Andersen, while also taking silver in the five-star Grand Prix.
Global Power OLD, born 2017, by Grey Flanell out of Doliandra by Don Frederic, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owners: Hof Kasselmann and Christiane Bergmann, and Evelyn Eger earned team bronze with Germany in the Nations Cup, another bronze in the Grand Prix Special and twelfth place in the five-star Grand Prix. Granddam, Elite Mare Loxandra by Diamond Hit, produced four licensed stallions: Fürst, For Diamonds, Fürst Diamond (all by Fürst Romancier) and Vivaldon by Vivaldi.
J'Adore Dior H, born 2019, by Jovian out of Schokominza by Sir Donnerhall, breeder: Michael Holtgers, Dohren, owners: Carol and Andrew Oatley, Australia, impressed under Sweden's Patrik Kittel in a Prix St. Georges.
Zum Glück, born 2013, by elite stallion Zonik N.O.P. out of State Premium mare Fera Capra by Florestan I, breeder: Ullrich Kasselmann, Hagen a.T.W., owners: Peter Falk and Patrik Kittel, Sweden, won both the three-star Grand Prix and the Freestyle under Patrik Kittel. The licensed stallion's brother Luis Figo by Lord Sinclair is successful at advanced level.
Quel Filou OLD, born 2011, by Quaterback out of Elite/State Premium mare Urania by Stedinger, breeders: Aloys and Christian Hinxlage, Garrel, owner: Bregnerødgaard ApS, Denmark, and Denmark's Anna Zibrandtsen celebrated team victory in the Nations Cup, before adding bronze in the Freestyle and eighth place in the five-star Grand Prix. As a foal, Quel Filou OLD was sold through the Oldenburg Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta. He is a full brother to the premium stallion Quateron, while full sister Utopia received the Oldenburg Main Premium qualification. Dam Urania was presented at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede and also produced the advanced dressage horses Divaro by Dimaggio and Quanciano by Quaterback. The family traces back to the renowned Uthoba mare line.
Show Jumping
Balou Blue, OS, born 2013, by Billy King out of Chasandra by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Stall Finnhult AB, Sweden, flew to victory under Sweden's Peder Fredricson in a 1.45 m class.
Chacco Volo, OS, born 2013, by Chacco-Blue out of Haribo by Carthago, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Deborah Cox, Great Britain, finished twelfth in a 1.45 m class with British rider Adrian Whiteway.
Charessino PS, OS, born 2016, by Chacoon Blue out of Caressilota by Caressini L, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owners: Charlotte Rossetter and Pamela Wright, claimed seventh place in a 1.45 m class and ninth in a 1.50 m class under Britain's Ben Maher. Granddam Quick Lady produced more than a dozen horses successful up to five-star level.
Cornet's Esmeray PS, OS, born 2017, by Cornet Obolensky out of Chacco's Esmera by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Cobo Ingeniería y Servicios, Spain, placed eighteenth in a 1.45 m class under Denmark's Zascha Nygaard.
Crazy Guapo PS, born 2016, by elite stallion Casallco out of Cuapa by Cento, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Rancho Las Agujas SA de CV, finished tenth in a 1.50 m class under Mexico's Luis Alejandro Plascencia O.
Diacero PS, OS, born 2017, by Diaron out of Cuapa by Cento, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Schou Absolute Horses, Denmark, placed sixteenth in a 1.45 m class with Denmark's Andreas Schou.
Paule S, OS, born 2014, by Perigueux out of Lassia by Sir Shutterfly – Chacco-Blue, breeder: Ute Jungermann-Schultz, Wollersleben, owners: Ronald Meißner and Turnierstall André Thieme GmbH, finished tenth under André Thieme in the Falsterbo Derby, a 1.50 m class.
Quila Blue PS, OS, born 2017, by Qualdandro out of Chacco's Girlstar by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Reitsportanlage Dagobertshausen GmbH & Co. KG, impressed with Sweden's Emma Emanuelsson, finishing sixth and tenth in two 1.45 m classes. Dam Chacco's Girlstar was herself victorious in 1.60 m competitions under Emanuele Camilli.
