The FEI European Dressage Championships for Young Riders and U25 Riders in Budapest, Hungary, proved to be an outstanding showcase for Oldenburg horses. With team gold for Germany in both the Young Riders and U25 Championships, team silver for Denmark, and an individual bronze medal in the Young Riders Freestyle, the Oldenburg horses once again demonstrated their international class. Numerous other Oldenburg representatives also impressed with top placings in the individual and freestyle competitions.

Bonfire, born 2014, by Belissimo out of Dallas by Diamond Hit, breeder: Silke Constabel, Magdeburg, owners: Cathrin Klaus and Nele Klaus, and Nele Klaus celebrated team gold with Germany after finishing tenth in the Young Riders Team Test.

Daytona Platinum, born 2011, by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD out of Greta by Charon, breeder: Andreas Klinker, Molbergen, owner: Fiona Bigwood, Great Britain, danced to bronze in the Young Riders Freestyle, fifth place in the Individual Championship and eighth in the Team Test under Britain's Mette Dahl. Granddam Elite/VbPrSt. Gritt also produced the licensed stallions First Final and Fürst Grandios, both by Fürst Grandios. First Final has recorded victories up to advanced (S***) level.

Zinq Escalla OLD FH, born 2015, by elite stallion Escolar out of St.Pr.St. Diva For Ever by Dimaggio, breeder: Maike Hinrichsen, Quickborn-Heide, owner: Gestüt Freiberger Hof / Baumgürtel, won team gold with Germany under Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel, while also finishing eighth in the Individual Championship, ninth in the Team Test and fifteenth in the Young Riders Freestyle.

RGS Finest Alegra, born 2015, by Finest out of RGS Cenzuel by Ampere – Nactus, breeder: Silje Fagertun Kristiansen, Norway, owner: Future Dressage, Denmark, and Frederikke Gram Jacobsen celebrated team silver for Denmark after placing seventh in the U25 Team Test, twelfth in the Individual Championship and thirteenth in the Freestyle.

Riccio, born 2010, by Rock Forever out of Avourneen by Argentinus, breeder: Michael Heimes, Wuppertal, owner: Henning Lehrmann, shone under Pia-Carlotta Gagel as part of the gold medal-winning German U25 team, following sixth place in the Team Test and eleventh in both the Individual Championship and the Freestyle. Granddam Anjessa also produced the Grand Prix-successful Rihanna Forever by Rock Forever, ridden by Martin Pfeiffer.

Scarlett, born 2013, by San Amour out of Elite Mare Tundra by Comics, breeder: Erja Aholainen, Hollingstedt, owner: Central Investments s.r.o., Czech Republic, and Klara Denny finished fourteenth in the Young Riders Team Test.

QC Sir Dennis, born 2010, by Sir Donnerhall I out of Fanfine by De Niro – Feinbrand, breeder: Josef-Ludwig Brinkhus, Bakum, owner: Malin Holmgren, Stall Buskhaga, Sweden, and Linnéa Holmgren placed fourteenth in the U25 Freestyle.

His dam Fanfine, born 2000 by De Niro, also produced the licensed stallion AllSaints (by Apache), reserve champion at the German Foal Championships in Lienen, as well as the two State Premium mares Fantasy (by Rohdiamant) and Fabienne (by Sir Donnerhall I). Sir Dennis' full sister, Verband Premium mare Fanfare, later produced Brightside, who is now successful at advanced level. Granddam Fara, born 1992 by Feinbrand, breeder: Karl Peters, Butjadingen, founded an exceptional dressage family. Mated with De Niro, she produced the advanced dressage horse De Miro, sold through the Oldenburg auction and ridden by Nicole Oberberg, as well as the full brothers DJ (by Dr. Doolittle) and Desperados, both successful at advanced level. She also produced the World Cup winner Delaunay OLD, ridden by Patrik Kittel. In addition, her mating with Dr. Doolittle resulted in the licensed stallion Dr. Bon Jovi, born in 2004 and licensed by the Oldenburg Verband in 2006.
