At the international CDI* in Šamorín, Slovakia, Oldenburg dressage horses once again demonstrated their outstanding class. Victories, medals and numerous top placings – from young horse and youth classes through to Grand Prix level – underlined the exceptional quality of Oldenburg horses on the international stage.
Bonne Amour, born 2013, by IPS Bon Bravour out of St.Pr.St. Sweet Diamond by San Amour I, breeder: Anita Ruppel-Nagy, Grammentin, owner: Familiares Plycwianska Sp. z o.o., Poland, claimed victory under Poland’s Maria Charaszkiewicz in both the Junior Team Test and the Individual competition. Bonne Amour, like her full sister, received the Verband Premium at her mare performance test.
Dublin, born 2011, by Desperados out of A La Admiral by Rubin Royal OLD, breeder: Werner Bertke, Löningen, owner: BORS Holding, s.r.o., Czech Republic, and Czech rider Barbora Zourkova earned bronze in both the Intermediate B and the Intermediate II. His full sister elite/Vb.Pr.St. Apollina II produced the Grand Prix-winning Harmony’s Dante's Peak by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD.
Emory OLD, born 2019, by Emilio out of elite mare Fashion by Johnson, breeder: Blue Hors Aps Dressage, Sweden, owner: Dafné Profi, Czech Republic, excelled under Denisa Valentova by winning the qualifier for seven-year-old dressage horses. His full sister Fairhope was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium entitlement at her mare performance test.
Morricone II, born 2012, by Millennium/Trak. out of elite/Vb.Pr.St. Hartima by Rubin Royal – De Niro, breeder: Heinrich Vahle, Friesoythe, owner: EQ Performance Center, Greece, finished fifth in both the Intermediate B and Intermediate II under Greece’s Ioulia Kyriaki Koudouni. His full brothers Morricone I and Morricone III were also licensed in Vechta. Morricone I–III and full brother Matondo have all been successful at advanced level. Dam Hartimaalso produced the Oldenburg Main Premium mare Harticone by Millennium.
Secret Service, born 2011, by Sir Donnerhall I out of elite/St.Pr.St. Royal Krack by Royal Diamond, breeder: Rokkerij Klaverhof Vof, Belgium, owner: Mag. Anja Danesh-Pajuh-Wildhaber, Austria, and Anja Danesh-Pajuh-Wildhaber secured silver in a Grand Prix. Dam Royal Krack has already produced the two licensed stallions Sir Krackby Sir Donnerhall I, successful at Grand Prix level, and premium stallion Ampère's Diamond by Ampère. Her daughter Vittoria Krack by elite stallion Vitalis received the Oldenburg Main Premium entitlement, while Surprice Krack by Sir Donnerhall I was honoured as both an Elite Mare and State Premium Mare.
Sekundenglück SL, born 2020, by elite stallion Vitalis out of Scala by Sir Donnerhall, breeder: Stefanie Löhmann, Drentwede, owner: Familiares Plycwianska Sp. z o.o., Poland, impressed under Poland’s Ilona Janas by winning the final and taking bronze in the qualifier for six-year-old dressage horses.
Veritas, born 2020, by elite stallion Vitalis out of Sandros-Soraya by Sandro Hit, breeder: Fritz-Willi Meuwissen, Selfkant-Hillensberg, owner: Edyta Ordon, celebrated silver in the qualifier and bronze in the final for six-year-old dressage horses with Poland’s Magdalena Jura. Sandros-Soraya also produced the State Premium Mare Soraya and Oldenburg Main Premium Mare Danziana M, both by Don Schufro. She is also the dam of Oldenburg Main Premium Mare Fürstin Romana by Fürst Romancier and has produced five Oldenburg auction horses to date.
Vitali, born 2017, by elite stallion Vitalis out of elite mare Sireta by Sir Donnerhall, breeder: Marion Menck, Großderschau, owner: Gestüt Sprehe GmbH, and Sabine Rüben danced to victory in a Prix St. Georges and claimed silver in an Intermediate I. Vitali, like his two half-brothers by elite stallion Fürstenball, was licensed.
Zack me blue, born 2019, by Zenon out of elite mare Donna Flora by Florencio I, breeder: Ulrich Kahle, Butjadingen, owner: Linda Krenovska, Czech Republic, delighted with victory in the final and silver in the qualifier for seven-year-old dressage horses under Linda Krenovska. Elite mare Donna Flora also produced a licensed son by Damsey.
Zaid, born 2014, by elite stallion Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. out of elite mare Sondra by Sir Donnerhall, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Joseph Chu, finished fourth in both the Intermediate B and Intermediate II under Alina Röhricht. Zaid was licensed, as were his half-brothers Total U.S. by elite stallion Totilas, Dante U.S. by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD, and Lamborghini U.S. by Lord Europe. Three more of Sondra’s offspring are currently competing successfully at advanced level: Gossip Girl and Great Gatsby PS, both by Grey Flanell, and Zantana RS2 OLD by elite stallion Glock’s Zonik N.O.P.. In addition to daughter Zantana RS2 OLD, Dandra PS by elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD also achieved Elite Mare status as the dam of two licensed stallions.
