27 selected promising young horses will be presented on July 4, 2026, in the festive atmosphere of the championships
As part of the Oldenburg State Championships powered by DERBY, Oldenburger Pferde Vermarktungs GmbH will host the first-ever Elite Foal Tournament Auction on July 4, 2026. Twenty-seven selected foals, including one pony foal, will be offered for auction. The collection combines modern, top-class genetics with proven performance bloodlines and brings together offspring from internationally successful dressage and show jumping families. Pedigrees featuring Grand Prix winners, licensed stallions, and show jumpers successful at the 1.60-meter level underscore the auction’s high standards of quality.
Among the collection’s special offerings is catalog number 3, Zauberfuchs CG by Zauberer out of Big Suprise by Sir Donnerhall I–Lauries Crusador xx–Weltmeyer, bred by Carolin Garbs, Bad Münder. Born on April 29, 2026, this prospective stallion and son of the premium stallion Zauberer hails from his sire’s debut crop and impresses as a powerful dressage athlete with plenty of drive and potential. The dam, Big Suprise, is a full sister to Sanria, who has already produced a licensed son by Ibiza as well as his S-level successful full brother, Ikonic. The maternal line is also of the highest caliber: Granddam La Diva is a sister to the licensed Sonnenkönig by Sandro Hit, who was successful up to Prix St. Georges level. This line has also produced the champion stallion and Bundeschampion Fürsten-Look, as well as numerous other licensed stallions, such as San Severo by San Amour I, Milestone by Millennium, and Whitford by Weltmeyer.
An outstanding representative of the show jumping collection is catalog number 8, Dempsey M, born April 26, 2026, by Dominator Z out of Louisiana Libby by Lord Pezi-Quattro B-Alme, breeder: Werner Meyer, Ermke. This stallion prospect and son of the internationally sought-after top sire Dominator Z combines a modern and typey conformation with pronounced show jumping qualities. Particularly noteworthy is his close kinship to top international sport horses: While his brother Olesko OLD by Ogano Sitte is licensed, his sister Four Roses by Fire and Ice J is racking up international wins and placings in show jumping up to 1.50 m. His dam, Louisiana Libby, is a sister to the licensed stallion Lord Pezi Junior by Lord Pezi—who was successful up to 1.60 meters—as well as to Acota M by Toulon, who achieved success in Nations Cup competitions and at the 1.60-meter level. His granddam, Aquinora, also comes from an exceptional family and is the sister of several notable sires, including Cordalmé, Royal Blue, Royal Z I, and Landrover, as well as the World Cup-winning Böckmanns Rolanda.
