Excitement builds for the Oldenburg State Championships in Höven.
The countdown is on: From 30 June to 5 July 2026, the best young Oldenburg horses and riding ponies will come together for the Oldenburg State Championships. For the first time, the Reitverein Höven will host this prestigious event, providing the stage for the champions of tomorrow.
Over six days, top-class young horse sport, breeding highlights and an exciting supporting programme will take centre stage. In dressage, show jumping and eventing, the most talented young horses and ponies will compete for the coveted State Champion titles.
A breeding highlight awaits visitors on Saturday, 4 July, with the Elite Mare Show of the OL & OS Associations. Here, the finest Oldenburg mares will be presented before the Champion Mare is crowned. The evening will continue with the Elite Foal Auction, where carefully selected young prospects for sport and breeding will go under the hammer.
There is plenty to enjoy beyond the competition arenas as well. An attractive exhibitor village invites visitors to browse and discover, while a wide range of food and refreshments will be available throughout the event.
And when the sport is over, the celebrations begin. On Friday evening, 3 July, the Night of Champions – DJ meets Sax will follow the Youngster Tour Final, offering the perfect opportunity to celebrate together. On Saturday evening, 4 July, the traditional Blue-Red Night will bring the famous Oldenburg party atmosphere to Höven.
