At the first Oldenburg Elite Foal Tournament Auction, held as part of the Steinhagen Riding Days on Saturday, June 20, 2026, competitive riders, investors, and breeders can expect a hand-selected collection comprising five show jumping foals and two dressage foals. It brings together promising young talents from high-performing mare lines, presenting an attractive selection with excellent prospects for international competition and modern breeding.
Among the highlights of the jumping foals is catalog number 1, Emil Croft B, born March 22, 2026, by Ermitage Kalone out of Lara Croft B by Lord Pezi – Carthago – Grannus, bred by Tobias Broxtermann of Wardenburg. The athletic-looking son of Ermitage Kalone—team gold medalist and individual bronze medalist at the 2025 European Championships in A Coruña—is by the S*-placed Lara Croft B. His dam is also the sister of the licensed stallion Quithago by Quidam’s Rubin, who has been successful at the S* level, as well as Stathago by Stakkato. This renowned performance line also produced Seldana di Campalto, the silver medalist at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.
With catalog number 4, the auction presents the elegant dressage prospect Very Nice, born April 16, 2026, by Verbier out of Fidertraum by Fidertanz-De Niro-Noble Roi xx, bred by Bernd Böckmann of Lastrup. This modern daughter of the Oldenburg champion stallion Verbier comes from an exceptionally successful dressage line. Her granddam Gritt is a full sister to the Intermediaire I-winning horses Dragon Dancer and Dorigo, as well as to Griskana, who produced, among others, the S**-winning Nymphenburg First Choice and the Prix St. Georges-winning Finero, both by Fidertanz. This line also produced the licensed Grand Prix winner Fahrenheit as well as other internationally successful sport horses.
Catalog number 6, Ornella, born March 10, 2026, by Ogano Sitte out of Welness by Donthargos-Menko van de Wellington-Tenor Manciais, bred by Ennio Schiltz of Sandbostel, also deserves special attention. This athletic show jumping prospect boasts international 1.60-meter bloodlines in her pedigree. Her granddam, Rituelle FDS, is a sister to the two licensed and internationally successful Darco sons Amaretto D’Arco and Forever D’Arco, as well as to Jaguar D Avontuur Ter Linden and Krokant Ter Maaighem, who have achieved success in international high-level show jumping. This top French line is known for numerous top sires and internationally successful horses.
