The collection is online: On Friday, July 3, 2026, Oldenburger Pferde Vermarktungs GmbH will present its first Elite Foal Tournament Auction as part of the Covalliero Dressage Days at the Kasselmann Farm in Hagen a.T.W. Twelve selected dressage foals will be presented to an international audience from the worlds of sport, breeding, and investment. The Covalliero Dressage Days are among the most significant dressage events of the year and, in the run-up to the FEI World Championships in Aachen, attract numerous top riders, breeders, and horse enthusiasts from all over the world to Hagen.
A glance at the pedigrees makes it clear why this collection deserves its name. The dam lines include Grand Prix winners, European champions, Olympic families, successful sires, and numerous licensed stallions.
Several foals come from families in which Grand Prix-winning horses are immediate close relatives. Others trace their maternal lines directly back to European champions, top international competitors, and proven dressage lines that have shaped Oldenburg breeding for decades.
Particularly noteworthy is the concentration of successful sires within the collection. In many cases, current top stallions are paired with dam lines that have already produced licensed stallions, Grand Prix horses, and international competitive successes. Thus, the selection combines current dressage genetics with families whose performance has been documented over generations.
The premiere in Hagen provides the perfect setting for this special collection. Shortly before the FEI World Championships in Aachen, the eyes of the international dressage scene are on the Kasselmann farm. It is there that, on July 3, twelve elite foals will compete for the attention of an international audience.
