Anticipation is building: The collection for the first Oldenburg Elite Foals Tournament Auction, held as part of the Steinhagen Riding Days, is now available online. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, breeders, competitive riders, and investors can look forward to an exclusive selection of seven highly promising young talents.
The collection includes five show jumping foals and two dressage foals, all of which boast top-class pedigrees and promising prospects for both competition and breeding. Among the show jumping foals are offspring of internationally successful top sires such as Ermitage Kalone, Ogano Sitte, and Vingino. The dressage foals are in no way inferior to their show jumping counterparts: With the Oldenburg champion stallion Verbier and Lord Charmeur, who attracted attention with an outstanding 50-day test, modern performance genetics and the best prospects for the future are guaranteed here as well.
For many years, the Steinhagen Riding Days have stood for dedicated equestrian sports, a vibrant club culture, and the special bond between athletes, breeders, and horse enthusiasts. For the first time, this traditional event will now be complemented by an Oldenburg elite foal auction, offering an attractive meeting place for horse enthusiasts and prospective buyers. The relaxed tournament atmosphere, personal conversations, and close proximity to the foals create a special setting for this premiere.

The auction will take place exclusively as an on-site live auction. Online bidding is not available. Of course, interested parties who cannot be present in Steinhagen in person can conveniently bid on their favorites via telephone bidding. Please contact the Oldenburg Auction Office team in advance to arrange this.
