At the CSI*****, the TSCHIO Aachen, the two Oldenburg show jumping stars Greya and Paule celebrated outstanding results. But Cardi MT also proved, with his consistent successes over the weekend in the Youngster Tour, that he too will soon be able to compete with the “big boys.”
Cardi MT, OS, born 2018, by Conthargos out of Christina by Christian, bred by Harm Oncken, Sande, owned by MK Sporthorses Max Kühner, and Max Kühner impressed with top placings in the Youngster Tour. After taking silver and fifth place in the first two qualifiers, they secured tenth place in the final. Their half-brother Casper by Chacoon Blue is also celebrating international placings in advanced show jumping under Patrick Bölle. Both horses were discovered at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta and purchased at the Elite Foal Auction and the Autumn Elite Auctions, respectively.
World Cup winner Greya, OS, born in 2014, by Colestus out of Contessa by Contender – Landkaiser, breeder: Wilfried Sandmann, Hüven, owner: Kent Farrington LLC, USA, placed eighth in the Aachen Grand Prix, a 1.60-meter show jumping competition, under American rider Kent Farrington. Her dam, Contessa, was highly successful in S-level show jumping competitions and also produced Louis by Levisonn, who was successful in S-level show jumping.
Paule S, OS, born 2014, by Perigueux out of Lassia by Sir Shutterfly – Chacco Blue, breeder: Ute Jungermann-Schultz, Wollersleben, owner: Ronald Meißner and Turnierstall André Thieme GmbH, placed seventh with André Thieme in the second qualifier for the Aachen Grand Prix, a 1.55 m show jumping competition.
