After a long and serious illness, our longtime Oldenburg breeding friend Stefanie Löhmann from Drentwede passed away far too soon on May 12 at the age of just 56.
In addition to Destello OLD by Dimaggio out of Gritt’s Gretchen by Fürst Fugger—the Bundeschampion of four-year-old riding horses and Vice World Champion of young dressage horses that she bred—she also bred Flori by Florett As out of Her Highness by His Highness, Simply Nice by San Amour I out of Feine Deern by Fürst Romancier, Lordswood Bernstein SL by Bonds out of El./St.Pr.St. Sunshine by Quaterback, and Bueno SL by Bonds out of Bischoff’s Beste by El.H. Foundation. Her mares Top Girl by Total McLaren out of Federleicht by Sir Donnerhall, a participant in the Elite Mare Show in Rastede, as well as Graceland SL by Ibiza out of Gritt’s Gretchen by Fürst Fugger were awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium qualification. Not only the now S*-winning Destello OLD, but also Dante’s Crack by El.H. Dante Weltino out of El.St. Close Up by Kansas C, who has also been awarded the gold ribbon in S*-level dressage competitions, the S*-placed Le Renard by Livaldon out of Diva de Luxe by Dimaggio, as well as the Prix St. Georges winner Florida-Girl by Le Vivaldi out of Feine Deern by Fürst Romancier, were all born in their stable.
Our deepest sympathies go out to her family and loved ones. We wish them strength during this difficult time.
