At the CSI***** Lido di Camaiore, Italy, Oak Grove’s Big Blue and Cardi MT were among the Oldenburg show jumpers to impress this weekend in 1.45 m classes. Both jumping stars were discovered at the Oldenburg Horse Centre.
XIXO Borgia, OS, born in 2015, by Big Star out of Santuria by Sandro Boy, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Ramzy Al Duhami, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and ridden by David Will, led the lap of honour in a 1.55 m class. His half-brother Dark Boy PS by Diatendro is also successful at advanced level.
Oak Grove’s Big Blue, OS, born in 2018, by Balou du Rouet out of state premium mare Wellcome by Corlensky G, breeder: Harm Oncken, Sande, owner: Gestüt Eichenhain GmbH, jumped to sixth place in a 1.45 m class under David Will. Half-brother Converlensky by Conthargos was licensed and is also successful at advanced level. Both of these horses, as well as three other offspring of Wellcome, were sold for top prices at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta.
Cardi MT, OS, born in 2018, by Conthargos out of Christina by Christian, breeder: Harm Oncken, Sande, owner: MK Sporthorses Max Kühner, impressed with Austria’s Max Kühner, finishing fifth in a 1.45 m class and ninth in a 1.40 m class. Her half-brother Casper by Chacoon Blue is also internationally placed in advanced level classes under Patrick Bölle. Both horses were discovered at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta and sold at the Elite Foal Auction and the Autumn Elite Auction respectively.
Chacareno PS, OS, born in 2015, by Chacco-Blue out of Casarena by Calvaro Z, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Gestüt Lewitz, and ridden by Italy’s Emanuele Camilli, secured fourth place in the Grand Prix, a 1.60 m class. Casarena’s sons Elvaro-Star PS OLD by Elvis ter Putte, My Casareno PS by Messenger and full brother Maxwell are also successful at advanced level.
Chacco’s Air PS, OS, born in 2015, by Chacco-Blue out of Concona by Conthargos, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Gestüt Lewitz, finished ninth in a 1.55 m class under Emanuele Camilli. Dam Concona celebrated international success in 1.60 m classes under Ben Maher. She also produced Tailormade Chaccothargo by Chacco-Blue and Diatencona PS by Diatendro, both internationally placed up to 1.50 m level.
Chacco’s Lawito PS, OS, born in 2015, by Chacco-Blue out of Lawitouna by Lawito, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Lozar Sas, Italy, impressed with Italy’s Riccardo Pisani, finishing fifth in a 1.55 m class.
Chalou’s Love PS, OS, born in 2012, by Diablo Blanco by Chacco Lover out of Gambella by Conterno-Grande, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Anna Christina Gansauer, and ridden by Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano, placed sixth in a 1.55 m class and eleventh in a 1.50 m class.
Contento, OS, born in 2011, by Contendros out of Quentaura by Cento – Centauer Z – Quick Star, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Maria Grazia Carbonaro, Italy, won a 1.45 m class and finished fifth in another 1.45 m class under Aurora Guarano.
Diloubette PS, OS, born in 2017, by Diaron out of Chaloubette by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Gestüt Lewitz, finished ninth in a 1.40 m class and twelfth in a 1.45 m class under Italy’s Christian Marini. Half-brother Eldor Blue by Eldorado van de Zeshoek was licensed and is just as successful at advanced level as his full brother Columbus PHE Exclusive.
El Chacco PS, OS, born in 2018, by Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Chacrina by Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Elena Bisogni, Italy, and ridden by Italy’s Nico Lupino, placed ninth in a 1.50 m class.
Eldorado-S, OS, born in 2012, by Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Balaine by Balou du Rouet, breeder: Del Rey SRL, Italy, finished tenth in a 1.50 m class under Italy’s Filippo Marco Bologni. Dam Balaine also produced the 1.50 m successful Chabalou by Chacco-Blue for Jens Heine.
Killer Queen, OS, born in 2012, by Diablo Blanco by Chacco Lover out of Caroulonia by Toulon, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Ecurie Guery, Belgium, flew to victory in a 1.50 m class with Belgium’s Jérome Guery.
Metoon PS, OS, born in 2013, by Messenger out of Cartina by Cartoon, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Gestüt Lewitz, and ridden by Simone Coata, earned silver in a 1.45 m class. Half-sister Cortina by Contendros is placed at advanced level under Juan-Carlos Garcia.
Scooby-Lou, OS, born in 2016, by elite stallion Casallco out of Pia Contra by Conthargos, breeder: Tailormade Horses Aps, Denmark, owner: Gestüt Lewitz, secured thirteenth place in a 1.50 m class under Riccardo Pisani. Dam Pia Contra herself is placed at 1.60 m level. Her daughter Tailormade Fia Conthara by Casallco has already achieved her first placings at advanced level.
