At the CSI***/CDI**** in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, Oldenburg dressage horses in particular celebrated an impressive string of successes: In addition to the brilliant victories by Dante’s Pearl OLD in the Grand Prix and the Special, the celebrated triumph of Denoix PCH in the Grand Prix, the success of Flash Gordon in the Grand Prix Freestyle, as well as the commanding victories of J’Adore Dior H in the qualifier and final qualifier for the Nuremberg Burg Cup and of Imo Pectore in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, the Oldenburgs made a strong statement across the board: No fewer than four representatives secured spots in the top five of the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, while another three also made it into the top five in the qualifier for the Nuremberg Burg Cup final.
Dressage:
Bellany, born 2017, by Bon Coeur out of Liva by De Niro – Langata Son – Pik Bube I, bred by: Sigrid Schmidt, Villingen-Schwenningen, trainer: Dressage Horse Training Center Lodbergen, and the Swedish rider Therese Nilshagen impressed in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses, finishing in ninth place. Bellany was crowned the celebrated champion stallion at the Oldenburg Stallion Days in Vechta in 2019. His sire, Bon Coeur, was twice runner-up at the German National Championships for riding horse stallions and is now competing successfully at advanced level under the Swedish rider Caroline Darcourt. His granddam, Langatia, is the sister of the Grand Prix stallion Ramiro’s Bube by Ramiro, ridden by Silke Fütterer.
Chere Celine OLD, born 2017, by Governor out of El.St.Pr.St. Chere Amie by San Amour I – Fürst Heinrich, Breeders: Gestüt Meyenburg, Dr. Gisa and Günther Löwe, Meyenburg, Owner: Dr. Gisa Löwe, Meyenburg, placed eighth in a ***Grand Prix and 13th in the Grand Prix Special under Lena Hassmann. Chere Celine OLD had already placed in the top ten in the World Championship Final as a five- and six-year-old. Her dam and champion mare Chere Amie is the sister of Rubin De Luxe/Intermediaire I with Ulf-Peter König. Paired with Morricone, she produced Mc Queen, who was successful up to Intermediaire A and was sold as the celebrated top lot under his auction name Mister Universe at the 3rd Oldenburg Online Special Edition. Third dam Cileste II is a sister to Donner Hit OLD/Grand Prix with Ellen Bodenkamp as well as the Welt Hit dynasty.
Dante’s Pearl OLD, born 2015, by El.H. Dante Weltino out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Lady Chapeau by San Amour I – Sandro Hit, bred by: Kerstin de Neui, Dollart, owner: Caroline-Marie Scheufele, danced to victory with Charlott-Maria Schürmann in a ***Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. Lady Chapeau has already produced three Oldenburg main premium mares or candidates: Ladies Night by Follow Me, Emirates by Escolar, and Lady K by Total McLaren.
Denoix PCH, born 2012, by Destano out of Princess by Pik Noir – Quattro B, breeder: Friedrich Kuhlmann, Neuenkirchen, owner: Nancy Gooding, USA, and Katharina Hemmer led the victory lap in a ****Grand Prix and won silver in the Grand Prix Freestyle. Denoix was licensed in Vechta in 2014 and subsequently moved to the State Stud in Celle via the stallion market. At the 2016 Autumn Elite Auction, the Oldenburg Vice State Champion was sold to the USA for a top price. His dam line produced the 2007 Oldenburg Champion Mare Rebelle by Don Schufro, who enjoyed international success under the Danish rider Maria Anita Andersen, as well as the top sire Pik Bube.
DiCaprio OLD, born 2014, by Dimaggio out of the elite mare Roxane by Sir Donnerhall I, bred by Constanze Fürste, Gehrde, owned by Hof Kasselmann GmbH & Co. KG, Hagen, secured ninth place in a **** Grand Prix under Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer. His full brother Dos Amigos OLD, one year his junior, is also placed at the *** level.
Fänomen de Malleret, born 2018, by El.H. Foundation out of Save Secret PS by Sezuan, breeder: Lewitz Stud, owner: Haras de Malleret, shone with Frederic Wandres, taking silver in two Prix St. Georges Special classes, the qualifier for the final qualifier, and the final qualifier for the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal.
Flash Gordon, born 2014, by Fiderbach out of Vb.Pr.St. Waldessa by Don Romantic, breeder: Jan Lüder Cornelius, Edewecht, owner: Ninja Rathjens, and the Dane Daniel Bachmann Andersen triumphed in a Grand Prix Freestyle and celebrated a silver medal in a ****Grand Prix.
Fontenay, born 2015, by El.H. Fürstenball OLD out of El./St.Pr.St. Gretana by Akzent II, breeder: Peter Matzinger, Switzerland, owner: Hof Brüning, was awarded bronze in a Prix St. Georges freestyle under Alissa Kuhlmann. Both her half-brother Blitzlicht by Briar and London Lightning by Londonderry were licensed. Additionally, her half-brother Blue Ray by Belissimo M has been successful in S* level dressage competitions.
Fosbury OLD, born in 2017, by For Romance I out of Dream Lady by Depardieu – Fürst Heinrich, bred by Werner Meyer, Ermke, owned by Johanna and Ulrich Zeising, placed seventh with Benjamin Werndl in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses. Fosbury OLD was discovered at the 2020 Autumn Elite Auction. His full brother was licensed. His granddam Fasil is a sister to the licensed stallions Franziskus by Fidertanz (Grand Prix winner with Ingrid Klimke) and Dementi by De Niro (Prix St. Georges winner with Bruno Greitemann), as well as Fürst Ferrari (Intermediaire I winner with Hermann Burger).
Front Girl, born 2018, by Elite Stallion Foundation out of Fantastica PS by Fürsten-Look, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Hof Kasselmann GmbH & Co. KG and Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer, placed fourth in the final qualifier and sixth in another Prix St. Georges Special, the qualifier for the final qualifier for the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal.
Fürst zu Bentlage, born 2013, by Fidertanz out of El.St. Casablanca by Sandro Hit – Castro – Weltmeister – Furioso II, breeder: Arnold Wegbünder, Nordhorn, owner: Annika Korte, Rheine, placed seventh in an Intermediaire I and tenth in a Prix St. Georges under Annika Korte. Invoice, born 2012, by Jazz out of Roxanne by Ferro – Lancer II – Chronos/T., breeder: P.J. Crum, Netherlands, owner: Alexanders Hovslageri & Hast AB, Sweden, and the Swedish rider Maria von Essen impressed by taking bronze in a ****Grand Prix as well as a Grand Prix Special.
J'Adore Dior H OLD, born 2019, by Jovian out of Schokominza by Sir Donnerhall I – Rohdiamant, breeder: Michael Holtgers, Dohren, owner: Carol and Andrew Oatley, Australia, shone under the Swedish rider Patrick Kittel in two Prix St. Georges Specials, the qualifier, and the final qualifier for the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal. The mare had already impressed in 2024 at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo in the final under Alvaro Conesa De Oliveira.
Quel Filou OLD, born in 2011, by Quaterback out of the Elite/State-approved mare Urania by Stedinger, bred by ZG Aloys and Christian Hinxlage, Garrel, and owned by Bregneroedgaard Aps, Denmark, placed sixth in a ****Grand Prix and a Grand Prix Special with Danish rider Anna Zibrandtsen. Quel Filou OLD was presented as a foal at the 2011 Autumn Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta. He had already demonstrated his talent in the dressage arena at the Bundeschampionat and the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Quel Filou OLD is a full brother to the premium stallion Quateron. His full sister, Utopia, was awarded the Oldenburg Main Premium. His dam, Urania, was presented at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede and is also the dam of the S-level dressage horses Divaro by Dimaggio and Quanciano by Quaterback. The source of this success is the renowned Uthoba line.
Szechuan, born 2016, by Sezuan out of Levante by Jimmie Choo Seq, breeders: Günter Achterkamp, Großhansdorf, B.: BG Bauriedel and Frenzen, and Dr. Annabel Frenzen were rewarded with silver in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses, as well as sixth place in an Intermediaire II, the Louisdor Prize final qualifier.
Sisters Act MT OLD, born 2012, by Sandro Hit out of Prima Nera by Royal Diamond – Donnerhall, bred by Silke Pelzer, Beelitz, owned by Elisabeth Max-Theurer, Austria, placed eighth in a Grand Prix freestyle under Laura Strobel. The National Champion of four-year-old fillies and geldings descends from the Heimat mare line, from which the licensed sire Don Graphit and the S-level successful Don Gregory by Donnerhall, among others, are descended. She has already produced a daughter, Mille Grazie a Carree OLD by Millennium, who has placed in S*-level dressage competitions.
Special Gold PCH, born 2016, by San Amour I out of El./St.Pr.St. Weihegold by Don Schufro – Sandro Hit, breeder: Christine Arns-Krogmann, Lohne, owner: Nancy Gooding, USA, piaffed with Katharina Hemmer to a bronze medal in the Grand Prix Special and placed fifth in a ***Grand Prix. His dam is none other than multi-champion Weihegold OLD. With Sir Weihbach, born 2009, by Sir Donnerhall I, and Total Hope OLD, born 2012, by El.H. Totilas, this representative of the Weissena mare line already has two licensed stallions to her credit. Furthermore, Weihegold OLD produced four Brillantring daughters for the Elite Mare Show in Rastede: Weihcera by Zack, Weihcine by Fürst Heinrich, Weihe Glück by Totilas, and Fürstin Weihe by Fürst Romancier. Top auction results from the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta also highlight the outstanding performance of Weihegold OLD’s genetic influence. For example, the Elite foal Special Gold, born in 2016, by San Amour. The noble black stallion was sold to the USA for 90,000 euros at the 2016 Elite Foal Auction in Vechta. This renowned mare line has produced, among others, the licensed stallions Lux Dressage Statesman OLD by Stedinger, Inselfürst by Inschallah AA, Canaster I and II by Caprimond, as well as Triumphator and Top of Class by Titus.
Vaderland OLD, born in 2016, by El.H. Vitalis out of Vechta by Krack C – Contango, bred by Reesink Pferde GmbH, Borken, and owned by Gestüt Brune, Westerstede, and Bernadette Brune, finished tenth in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses. In addition to Vaderland OLD, dam Vechta also produced the internationally successful Grand Prix horse Impressive VDC by Charmeur, ridden by British rider Sarah Millis. From Vaderland’s maternal line come the licensed stallion Heros Begijnhoeve by Vivaldi and Fanatique Begijnhoeve by Tuschinski, successful at Intermediaire I level with Tommi Visser of the Netherlands.
Vaida - Girl OLD, born 2017, by El.H. Vitalis out of El.St.Pr.St. Stella Girl by Stedinger, Breeder: J.J. Blonk, Lienen, owner: Ulrich Oberscheid, impressed under Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock by placing fourth in an Intermediaire II, the Louisdor Prize final qualifier, and fifth in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses. Dam Stella Girl has already produced the Intermediaire II-successful Oldenburg main premium candidate Amouretta by All at Once under Rocco Di Pierro/ITA, as well as the two Oldenburg main premium candidates Anne-Girl by All at Once and Roxana Girl by Rockabye S, who was sold for a high price to Great Britain at the Spring Elite Auction.
Vitally PCH, born 2018, by El.H. Vitalis out of El./St.Pr.St. Weihegold OLD by Blue Hors Don Schufro, bred by: Christine Arns-Krogmann, Lohne, celebrated with Anna Schölermann after placing fourth in the qualifier for the Louisdor Prize final, a Grand Prix for young horses, and seventh in an Intermediaire II, the Louisdor Prize final qualifier. Vitally PCH is by none other than the multi-champion mare Weihegold, who not only produced the two licensed stallions Sir Weihbach by Sir Donnerhall I and Total Hope OLD by El.H. Totilas, but also six offspring successful at the advanced level. In addition to Olympic finalist Total Hope OLD, Special Gold PCH by San Amour I and Weihcera Royal NG by Zack, among others, have placed up to Grand Prix level. Five of her daughters have been designated as elite mares to date, based on their own successes as well as those of their offspring. Gut Wettlkam’s Zonik Hit OLD, born 2013, by El.H. Zonik out of El.St. Donna Argentina II by Diamond Hit – Argentinus, bred by Steve Lewinski, Fehrbellin, owned by Lisa and Thomas Müller, Otterfing, finished tenth in a Grand Prix Special under Lisa Müller. The full sister of his dam, Donna Argentina 2, has won up to Grand Prix level.

Baloutaire PS, OS, born 2011, by Balou du Rouet out of Chataire by Chacco-Blue – Voltaire, breeder and owner: Gestüt Lewitz, took silver with Patrick Stühlmeyer in an S** show jumping class.
Carrie, born 2014, by Christian out of St.Pr.St. Coco Chanel by Couleur Rubin – Espri – Zeus, breeder: Anne Haase, Fischerhude, owner: Stevens Sportpferde GmbH, Molbergen, and Mario Stevens won silver in the second qualifier for the Grand Prix, an S*** jumping competition. Her half-sister Scarlet by Semper Fi has also placed in advanced show jumping competitions.
Cayman K, OS, by Cristallo I out of Angie by Achill-Libero H - Gecko, breeder and owner: Niklas Knoop, Riesenbeck, won bronze with Sina Knoop in a 1.50 m show jumping class, the qualifying round for Germany’s U25 Show Jumping Cup. His dam, Angie, had herself won a difficult-level show jumping class with Isabel Heckmann.
Chaloubino PS OLD, OS, born 2017, by Chacoon Blue out of Celoubine by Centadel – Baloubet du Rouet – Continue – Pilot, bred and trained by Gestüt Lewitz, and Patrick Stühlmeyer flew to victory in the second qualifier for the Grand Prix, an S*** show jumping competition. The stallion was Vice-National Champion in 2022 and 2023. His brother Viva Cent by Vivant van de Heffinck is successful internationally at ***** level.
Conthargo PS, OS, born 2016, by Conthargos out of Centhaga by Centadel, breeder: Lewitz Stud, owner: Paul Schockemöhle and Wolfgang Zipperle, was awarded silver in an S* show jumping competition under Felix Hassmann.
Emelie van de Mirania Stam, OS, born 2012, by Emerald van het Ruytershof out of Phirania by Concorde - Rigoletto, Breeder: Gestüt Appenriede, Winkelsett, Owner: Annette Beckmann and Marcus Willem Stiekema, Löningen, shone with Johanna Beckmann, winning bronze in an S** show jumping competition. Her daughter Cirania S by El.H. Comme il faut is poised to follow in her mother’s footsteps and is already successful in S** show jumping. Phirania, in combination with Arezzo, sired the licensed stallion Almaretto S.
Gangster WW, OS, born 2016, by Grand Slam out of Candela by Kannan, breeder: Wilhelm Winkeler, Herzlake, owner: Fiona Hall, Luke Dee, New Zealand, and Luke Dee from New Zealand were delighted to win bronze in the Grand Prix, a 1.55-meter show jumping competition. His dam, Candela, herself enjoyed success up to the advanced class.
Mathilda PS, OS, born 2018, by Messenger out of Cornetta by Cornet Obolensky, bred and owned by Gestüt Lewitz, won an S** show jumping competition under Emilia Löser.
