As part of the international equestrian tournament Horses & Dreams at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association will present its elite foal auction. On Friday, April 24, at 8:30 p.m., 21 carefully selected foals from high-performance and internationally successful dam lines will be offered for sale.
Interested parties can get a comprehensive view of the collection in advance: On Thursday, April 23, at approximately 6:45 p.m., all foals will be presented in the show jumping arena. On auction day, the dressage foals will be presented at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the dressage arena, followed by the show jumping foals at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the show jumping arena.
The collection is characterized by modern, athletic young horses with a clear focus on international competition. Of particular note is a daughter of Sebastino PS out of a Fürstenball–De Niro dam line, which originates from the distinguished Elfenblume family. For years, this line has been synonymous with reliable heredity, licensed stallions, and international success up to the Grand Prix level.
Consistently developed performance lines are also reflected in the show jumping group. A son of Chacord GB combines proven show jumping genetics and comes from a family with numerous internationally successful horses up to 1.60 m, including Nations Cup winners. Another promising prospect by Casallco impresses with his athletic build and a maternal line that has produced horses for international show jumping across generations.
In the dressage sector, a daughter of Escaneno with excellent movement complements the collection. Her pedigree combines modern dressage sires such as Don Olymbrio L and Hotline with a competition-proven family that has produced successful horses up to the highest levels of dressage.
The collection once again underscores the Oldenburg breeding program’s commitment to selecting performance-oriented horses with potential for both sport and breeding.
