At the World Cup Final in Fort Worth, USA, Greya and Kent Farrington triumphed in the overall standings. Ahead of the final Sunday, Chadellano JRA and Eiken Sato were also sitting in a promising fourth place, however the Japanese rider unfortunately had to withdraw his top horse due to health issues.

Chadellano JRA, OS, born 2011, by Chacco-Blue out of Centana by Centadel, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by the Japan Equestrian Federation (Japan), and ridden by Eiken Sato, impressed with second place in the second qualifier of the World Cup Final, a 1.60m show jumping competition, as well as finishing 13th in a CSI5* speed class (against the clock), the opening qualifier. Full brother Chatallano PS is also successful at international top-level show jumping.

Greya, OS, born 2014, by Colestus out of Contessa by Contender–Landkaiser, bred by Wilfried Sandmann (Hüven), owned by Kent Farrington LLC (USA), led the victory lap in the second qualifier, a 1.60m show jumping competition, under American rider Kent Farrington, and also secured fifth place in the final. This put the pair at the very top of the podium at the World Cup Final. “World Cup Final winner – it sounds amazing. Daniel really made me sweat, but Greya jumped so incredibly that we managed it today! I can’t mention Greya alone, though; this victory also belongs to Toulayna, who laid the foundation with her win on the first day. To win here in front of my home crowd is the greatest feeling. I couldn’t have wished for anything better,” Kent Farrington said delightedly. Dam Contessa was herself highly successful in advanced (S-level) show jumping competitions and also produced Louis, by Levisonn, who competes successfully at S level.
