The Oldenburg dancers have celebrated a number of victories and placings not only at the CDI*** in Wellington, USA, but also at the CDI*** in Flyinge, Sweden.

Blue Ridge A Cappella, born 2011, by Soprano out of Vb.Pr.St. Fee by Argentinus, breeder: Judy McGaughan, USA, owner: Monique Richter, USA, and Sven Steffens-Smienk shone with a silver medal in an Intermediaire I freestyle and fifth place in an Intermediaire I.
Aqua Marin, born 2011, by Ampere out of El./St.Pr.St. Stedinger Heide by Stedinger, breeder: Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder, owner: Alicia and Marianne Berger, USA, triumphed under Alicia Berger in an Intermediaire II, a U25 Grand Prix and the concluding freestyle. Aqua Marin was licensed in 2013, as was his half-brother by Quaterback. His dam, El./St.Pr.St. Stedinger Heide, also produced, in combination with Quaterback, the elite mare Quadriga and the St.Pr.St. Borowski’s Heide by Borowski.
Baltimore, born 2010, by El.H. Bordeaux out of El.St. Lantana by Landfriese, breeder: Marion Menck, Großderschau, owner: Linda Kimbell, USA, impressed with Linda Kimbell in a Prix St. Georges and an Intermediaire I for amateurs, winning silver. Dam Lantana produced the licensed Royal Rubin by Royal Dance, who has won S** dressage classes, as well as the internationally successful 1.60m winner Chacco by Chacco-Blue.
Barton VDL, born 2016, by El.H. Bordeaux out of El./St.Pr.St. Honigblüte by Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Julia Hermann, Hatzfeld-Eifa, owner: The Barton Group, USA, and Sarah Tubman secured sixth place in the final of the Future Challenge, a Grand Prix for young horses. The stallion was licensed at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in 2018. His half-brothers Don du Ciel by De Niro and Villeroy by Viva Gold OLD also received the coveted licensing predicate. In addition, his half-sisters Heide Spirit by Zack received the State Premium, whilst Heidesymphonie JH by Total McLaren and Heideblüte Z OLD by De Niro, who has placed in Class S dressage competitions, received the Oldenburg Main Premium.
Benedetto, born 2015, by Benicio out of Dublette by Diamond Hit – Raimondo, breeder: Katrin Alkenings, Wiefelstede, owner: Jovanna Stepan, took ninth place under Jovanna Stepan in the final of the Future Challenge, a Grand Prix for young horses. Benedetto was discovered at the 2015 Elite Foal Auction. Granddam Beluga is the sister of the licensed stallion Rainando.
Bit of Ritz, born 2016, by El.H. Bordeaux out of Roxelle by Quattro B, breeder: Evi Strasser, Canada, owner: Masato Tsumamoto, finished eighth in an Intermediaire I and ninth in a Prix St. Georges with the American rider Kelly Layne. His dam Roxelle also produced the licensed His Querido by His Highness.
Bon Amie, born 2016, by Bon Coeur out of St.Pr.St. J'adore by Jazz, breeder: Berthold Schoemaker, Emlichheim, owner: Kat Fuqua, USA, and Kat Fuqua rode to victory in the Young Riders’ team and individual competitions, as well as to silver in the freestyle. Dam J'adore gave birth to the Oldenburg Grand Premium mare Filomena by For Romance I.
Chica AK, born 2021, by Valverde out of OLHPrSt. Chibscha by Grey Flanell, breeder: Andreas Klinker, Molbergen, owner: Emmaline Count, was awarded silver under Alanna Richards in the preliminary test and the final of the five-year-old dressage horses. Her granddam El./St.Pr.St. Cileste II produced the S**-successful London Rock by Londonderry.
Harmony's Dante's Peak, born 2016, by El.H. Dante Weltino OLD out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Apollina II by Desperados FRH, breeder: Werner Bertke, Löningen, owner: Harmony Sporthorses, piaffed to fourth place in a Grand Prix and tenth place in a Grand Prix Special under Michael Klimke. Dam Apollina II has already produced three offspring for the Vechta auction ring and, in combination with Millennium, is the dam of the Verband-prämierte mare Alexandria.
Derek, born 2016, by Morricone I out of Seidenklang by Sandro Hit, breeder: Henning Kranz, Rethem, owner: P.J. Rizvi, USA, and Ashley Holzer finished eighth in the final of the Future Challenge, a Grand Prix for young horses.
Harmony’s Fado, born 2014, by Fairytale out of the elite mare Sibiola by Sir Donnerhall I-Blue Hors Don Schufro, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Harmony Amateur Sports Foundation, took ninth place in the Grand Prix under Michael Klimke. Dam Sibiola is the dam of the licensed Fürstball son Don Furitello, as well as his full siblings Forza RS2 and Force Majeure, who are successful in advanced level competition.
Fandiamo, born 2019, by El.H. Foundation out of Lasira by Londonderry, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Hof Kasselmann GmbH & Co.KG, won the preliminary test and the final for seven-year-old dressage horses with the American rider Jennifer Hoffmann. Fandiamo was licensed. Lasira is also the dam of the advanced (S) level successful Disney’s Dory by Desperando and Gallery by Governor.
Fashion Prinz OLD, by Fürst Romancier out of Senaria by Sarkozy – Rosario – Sandro Hit – Don Gregory – Rubinstein I, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Steinfeld, owner: Xiao Weilin, China, and Zhanzhao Gu finished fourth in a Prix St. Georges and ninth in an Intermediaire I. Dam Senaria also produced the licensed and successful at S-level European Champion Founder FH by Foundation, ridden by Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel, as well as the Bundeschampionat finalist Saint-Etienne OLD by St. Schufro.
Finnländerin, born 2010, by Fidertanz out of the elite mare Ferna by Donnerhall – Pik Bube I, breeder: Xavier Marie, France, owners: Gilles Bergeron and Camille Carier Bergeron, Canada, impressed under Camille Carier Bergeron from Canada, finishing fifth in the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special. Finnländerin hails from the famous Finnländerin line. Her dam Ferna is the sister of the licensed Olympian Don Schufro by Donnerhall, ridden by Andreas Helgstrand. The chestnut mare impressed as a foal at the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta and has already produced the State Premium mare Festival by Sandro Hit.
Fürstencharmant, born 2017, by El.H. Fürstenball out of MW Weiss Schwarz by Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Jennifer Vanover, USA, owner: Michelle Mills, Canada, took tenth place with Michelle Mills in a Prix St. Georges.
Gold Play, born 2015, by Grey Flanell out of St.Pr.St. Shangri La by Sir Donnerhall II OLD, breeder: Janne Schäfer, Bissendorf, owners: Nancy Hutson and Jordan LaPlaca, USA, and Jordan LaPlaca led the lap of honour in the Grand Prix Special and finished eleventh in the Grand Prix. Both half-brother Ballodair Park Dauphin by Desperado and half-sister Dheelis by Dancier are enjoying success in the advanced class.
Gremlin, born 2015, by Grey Flanell out of El./St.Pr.St. Daytona by Donnerschwee, breeder: Andrea Gräfin von Merveldt, Vechta, owner: Bille Davidson, USA, finished seventh in a Grand Prix Special under Quinn Iverson. The Elite/State Premium mare Daytona is also the dam of the licensed stallion Exupéry by Escamillo, the S-level winner To Limit OLD by Top Gear, and, in partnership with Fürst Romancier, produced the Elite and State Premium mare Dolivia.
Roberto de Fontaine, born 2018, by Valverde NRW out of L'Actrice VDL by Don Tango B, breeder: Chateau de Fontaine, France, owner: Enter At A Llc, USA, impressed with American rider Andrea Woodard in fourth place in a Prix St. Georges, the Future Challenge.
Sonnenkönig, born 2012, by Sir Donnerhall I out of St.Pr.St. Estelle by Blue Hors Hotline, breeder: Dr Jobst Hartmann, Hodorf, owner: Hayden Kane, USA, and Hayden Kane were awarded silver in both the team and individual junior competitions. Sonnenkönig was discovered at the 2016 Spring Elite Auction.
So Perfect, born 2017, by Sezuan out of Vb.Pr.St. Shakira by Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Dr Frank Nordhausen, Suhlendorf, owner: Lövsta Stuteri, Sweden, celebrated victory in the final of the Future Challenge, a Grand Prix for young horses, under the Swedish rider Tinne Vilhelmson Silfven. The stallion was acclaimed as reserve champion at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta during his licensing in 2019.
Summersby, born 2015, by Sezuan out of St.Pr.St. Summer Night by Sandro Hit, breeder: Nicole Wanning, Schüttorf, owner: Marianne and Allison Berger, USA, took fifth place with Allison Berger in an Intermediaire II and a U25 Grand Prix. Her full sister was awarded the Main Premium qualification.
Top Gem, born 2017, by Top Gear OLD out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Weissena Five by Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Thorsten Cording, owner: Mariye Inouye, USA, and Jasmin Sofie Filander were delighted to take bronze and eighth place in Prix St. Georges classes as part of the Future Challenge. The mare was awarded the Oldenburg main premium qualification. Her dam produced the licensed Vector Forty-Eight by Vaderland as well as his full brother.
Toronto Lightfoot, born 2013, by Totilas out of Okima Lightfoot by Onassis – Michellino, breeder: Stutteri Lightfoot, Denmark, owner: Scott Durkin, USA, impressed under Meagan Davis, finishing fourth in the Grand Prix and fifth in the Grand Prix Special.
Verrenberg, born 2016, by Vilancio out of the elite mare D-Cassina by Johnson TN, breeder: Nicole Wanning, owner: Hof Kasselmann, Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, won both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special with Frederic Wanderes.
Vioretta, born 2015, by Vivaldi out of the elite mare Loreana by Blue Hors Don Schufro, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Jane Karol, USA, shone under Jane Karol in a Grand Prix Special. Dam Loreana produced the licensed Royal Schufro by Royal Hit, Sky Diamond by Sir Donnerhall I, Furst Rock by Fürst Jazz and Revelation by Revolution. Her daughter Lorena by Riccione is also an elite mare. In addition, four more of her offspring are successful in advanced dressage competitions: Wild Diamond by Welt Hit II, For my Live by Fürst Heinrich, Sky Diamond by Sir Donnerhall I and his full brother Samino.
Vitalissimo, born 2017, by El.H. Vitalis out of the El./Vb.Pr. mare Elfenliebe by Belissimo NRW, breeder: Ewald Grotelüschen, Wardenburg, owner: Adeline Shelton, USA, and Adeline Shelton triumphed in the team and individual competitions as well as the freestyle for juniors. Dam Elfenliebe produced the licensed Franzissimo by Franziskus, the Oldenburg Grand Prize mare Elfenglück BS by Sir Donnerhall I, and the S-level placed Francis Drake MT by El.H. Franziskus.
Zara K, born 2012, by El.H. Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. out of Rosana by Argentinus, breeder: Ullrich Kasselmann, owner: Hof Kasselmann, Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, finished fourth in the Grand Prix Special under Lars Ligus and eighth in the Grand Prix. Dam Rosana, in combination with Sir Donnerhall I, produced the successful advanced (S) level horse Sinatra as well as the L’Espoir son Leporello.

Floppy Disc, born 2009, by Florencio I out of St.Pr.St. Delilah by Don Romantic, breeder: Wilhelm Schwierking, Barver, owner: Karin Lindahl, Sweden, and the Swedish rider Mimi Letzén shone in an Intermediaire II, taking silver, and won bronze in the U25 Grand Prix. Dam Delilah produced the licensed Freestyle by El.H. Fürstenball and the S*-placed Grand Diamond by Governor.
QC Sir Dennis, born 2010, by Sir Donnerhall I out of the elite mare Fanfine by De Niro – Feinbrand, breeder: Josef-Ludwig Brinkhus, Bakum, owner: Malin Holmgren, Stall Buskhaga, Sweden, celebrated victory in an Intermediaire II and silver in the U25 Grand Prix under Linnéa Holmgren. Sir Dennis’ dam Fanfine, in partnership with Apache, gave birth to the licensed AllSaints, born 2013, who paraded as reserve champion at the German Foal Championships in Lienen, as well as the two State Premium mares Fantasy, born 2005, by Rohdiamant, and Fabienne, born 2008, by Sir Donnerhall I. Sir Dennis’s full sister, the Association Premium mare Fanfare, born in 2009, has produced a son, Brightside, who is now successful in advanced-level competition.
