At the CSI*****/CDI-W 's-Hertogenbosch, there were magnificent victories in the dressage arena and outstanding placings in the show jumping.
Dressage:
Amphitryon OLD, born 2012, by Ampère out of El./Vb.Pr.St. Rosaria by Rosario - Likoto xx, bred by Martin Otten, Steinfeld, owned by Yasmin Westerink, Netherlands, danced his way to victory with his rider Yasmin Westerink in the team competition and the Young Riders’ freestyle. Amphitryon was an Ib-premium stallion at the 2015 saddle licensing. His dam Rosaria produced another dressage horse successful in advanced classes, OLHPrA. For Rose by For Dance.
Doo Schufro, born 2009, by Doolittle out of Funny Lady by Harvard – Prinz Miro, bred by Beate Lübbe, Langförden, owned by Annemarieke Nobel, Netherlands, and Annemarieke Nobel from the Netherlands triumphed in the para-freestyle. Like Patrik Kittel’s successful horse Delaunay OLD by Dr. Doolittle and the licensed stallions Diamonit I and II by Diamond Hit, as well as Fackeltanz OLD by Florencio I, Doo Schufro hails from the famous Fackila mare line.
Zinq Escalla OLD FH, born 2015. by El.H. Escolar out of St.Pr.St. Diva For Ever by Dimaggio, bred by Maike Hinrichsen, Quickborn-Heide, owned by Gestüt Freiberger Hof / Baumgürtel, shone under Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel, taking silver in the team competition and bronze in the Young Riders’ Freestyle.
McLaren Old N.O.P.T., born 2017, by Morricone I out of El./St.Pr.St. Samatha by Sir Donnerhall I – Akzent II, bred by Ulf Tönjes, Ganderkesee, owned by Reesink Stallions B.V., Netherlands, led the lap of honour with Dutch rider Dinja van Liere in a Prix St. Georges and an Intermediaire I freestyle. His half-siblings Fiolina by Faustinus and Fürstenherz by Fürsten-Look are also successful in advanced classes. His dam also produced not only the three Oldenburg main premium candidates Vanessa by Van Vivaldi I, Saphira by Quantensprung and Queen Sarah by Q-Sieben, but also the state premium candidate Tobanda by Tokio.
Zantana Rs2 OLD, born 2014, by El.H. Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. out of El.St. Sondra by Sir Donnerhall I, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Jacques Lemmens and Saskia Lemmens-Reijnen, Netherlands, and the Dutch rider Marieke van der Putten piaffed their way to bronze in the Grand Prix and the World Cup Freestyle. Elite mare Zantana is, among others, the dam of the licensed stallions Fürst Zonik PS by Fürstenball, now victorious in advanced level under Isabel Freese, and Debutant PS OLD by Deparon, who has already caused a sensation three times at the National Championships in Warendorf. Zantana’s dam, El.St. Sondra, gave birth to the licensed stallions Total U.S. by Totilas, Zaid by Zack, Dante U.S. by Dante Weltino OLD and Lamborghini U.S. by Lord Europe. With Gossip Girl and Great Gatsby PS, both by Grey Flanell, as well as Zaid, three of her offspring are currently successful in the advanced class. Alongside her daughter Zantana Rs2 OLD, Dandra PS by El.H. Dante Weltino OLD also secured the title of Elite Mare as the dam of two licensed stallions.
Show jumping:
Cero Blue TN, OS, born 2017, by Chacoon Blue out of Die Cera by Balou du Rouet, bred by Harm Thormählen, Kollmar, owned by Team Nijhof Vof, Cam Vd Oetelaar BV, Harm Thormählen, finished sixth in an S** show jumping class under Dutch rider Willem Greve. Dam Die Cera produced another licensed stallion when paired with Crumble.
Chacco’s Girl, OS, born 2011, by Chacco-Blue out of Centora by Cento, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Karel Cox, Hagenhorst Horses BV, Belgium, finished tenth in an S*** show jumping competition under Dutch rider Johnny Pals. Full brother Come Undone One is an international S* winner.
Hello Chadora Lady, OS, born 2013, by Chacco-Blue out of Nindora by Nintender, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Pauline Harris and Pauline Kirkham, Great Britain, secured twelfth place under the British rider Scott Brash in the Rolex Grand Prix, a 1.60 m show jumping competition.
Diabelle PS, OS, born 2015, by Diatendro out of Jesabelle de Baugy by Papillon Rouge, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Devos Stables, Belgium, and the Belgian rider Pieter Devos took tenth place in an S** show jumping competition. Half-brother Conthallon Rouge by Conthargos is just as successful in the advanced class as half-sister Linsabelle Rouge by Linton.
Iron Dames Dialou Blue PS, OS, born 2013, by Diarado’s Boy out of Golousa by Chacco-Blue – Baloubet du Rouet, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Pegase Equestrian BV, Netherlands, finished fifth in an S*** show jumping competition with Katrin Eckermann. Dam Golousa also gave birth to Sanlou by Sandro Boy, who has enjoyed success in advanced show jumping, as well as Coloubet Blue PS by Cornet Du Lys.
Emerlon, OS, born 2017, by Emerald van het Ruytershof out of Cassinis Toulonia by Toulon, bred by Henning Kranz, Rethem, owned by Chansonette Farm LLC, USA, was rewarded with silver in an S** show jumping class under the American rider Lillie Keenan and finished thirteenth in an S*** show jumping class.
Stargos VDL, OS, born 2017, by Stakkato Gold out of Estella by Conthargos, bred by Wilhelm Winkeler, Herzlake, and the Dutch rider Hessel Hoekstra placed fourth in an S** show jumping competition and fourth and sixth in an S* show jumping competition. Stargos VDL received a positive licensing verdict at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in 2019.
