Three Oldenburg dancers made the end of the year even sweeter for themselves and their team at the CDI-W in Mechelen, Belgium.
Djembe de Hus OLD, born in 2015, by Damon Hill out of St.Pr.St. Elfe by Argentinus - Fahnenträger II/Trak., bred by Xavier Marie, France, owned by S.a.r.l. Haras De Hus, France, piaffed his way to silver in the Grand Prix and the World Cup Freestyle under Belgian rider Justin Verboomen.
Drosa Fürst Kennedy OLD, born 2015, by Fürsten-Look out of Fiodora by Don Kennedy - Contender - Tin Rocco, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Joao Moreira, Roberto Pedrosa Haras Do Drosa, Portugal, and the Portuguese João Pedro Moreira danced their way to bronze in both the Grand Prix and the World Cup Freestyle. His brother Buenos Dias by Bordeaux was licensed in Vechta. Dam Fiodora is the sister of Kristy Oatley's Grand Prix horse Ronan by Riccione and of three licensed stallions: First Class by Florencio, the Oldenburg premium stallion Soprano by Sandro Hit and a licensed son of Don Primero. Fürst Kennedy comes from the Flattopia mare line.
Zantana Rs2 OLD, born 2014, by Glock's Zonik N.O.P. out of El.St. Sondra by Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, owner: Jacques Lemmens and Saskia Lemmens-Reijnen, Netherlands, was delighted with fourth place in the Grand Prix and fifth place in the final World Cup Freestyle with Dutch rider Marieke van der Putten. Elite mare Zantana is the dam of the licensed stallions Fürst Zonik PS by Fürstenball, now victorious in the advanced class under Isabel Freese, and Debutant PS OLD by Deparon, who has already caused a sensation three times at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. Zantana's dam, El.St. Sondra, gave birth to the licensed stallions Total U.S. by Totilas, Zaid by Zack, Dante U.S. by Dante Weltino OLD and Lamborghini U.S. by Lord Europe. With Gossip Girl and Great Gatsby PS, both by Grey Flanell, and Zaid, three of her offspring are currently successful in the advanced class. In addition to her daughter Zantana Rs2 OLD, Dandra PS by El.H. Dante Weltino also earned the title of elite mare as the dam of two licensed stallions.
