Following the spectacular premiere of the OLD Masters series, the second edition will take place next year.
This dressage series was created by the Association for the Promotion of Oldenburg Equestrian Sports specifically for seven- and eight-year-old Oldenburg young horses in order to promote talented Oldenburg dressage horses in a targeted manner and offer them an attractive platform for further sporting development.
The first of six qualifiers, in which an S-level dressage test will be ridden, will take place on March 27, 2026, as part of the tournament in Vechta. The two best Oldenburg horses will qualify for the final, which will feature an international FEI dressage test for seven-year-old horses. It will take place on October 2 and 3, 2026, as part of the Autumn Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta and will offer total prize money of €7,000.
Zuperman OLD, born in 2017, by Galleria's Vincent Maranello out of El.St. Dainty Girl by Destano, bred by Dr. Stefan Tietje, owned by Beatrice Hoffrogge, impressed under Beatrice Hoffrogge in the preliminary test and the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup, a dressage test of class S* - Kandare, finishing in sixth place.
