eatrice Buchwald: „Als ichWeihegold das erste mal im Stall gesehen habe dachte
ich, es kann sich nicht um die angekündigte Superstute handeln. Mit hängendem
Kopf und der Unterlippe fast bis zum Boden stand sie mitten in einer belebten Stallgasse.
Bald merkte ich aber, dass genau das diese Stute ausmacht - einerseits total cool, ausge-
glichen und von jedem Kind zu händeln, wird sie, sobald es an die Arbeit geht zur Arbeits-
biene und kämpft tausendprozentig für den Reiter. In einem Jahr von Dressurpferde L bis
S und diese Saison Seriensiege in St. Georg und die Qualifikation für den Burg-Pokal
sprechen wohl für sich. Drei gleichermaßen gute Grundgangarten, ein solches Hinter-
bein, die Versammlungsfähigkeit und der Kampfgeist vereint in einem Pferd, machen
Weihegold meiner Meinug nach zu einem absoluten Ausnahmepferd.
Nachdem ich jetzt schon zwei ihrer Nachkommen unter dem Sattel hatte und die anderen
‚Weihe-Kinder‘ gesehen habe, ist es wirklich erstaunlich, dass sie an alle Charakter, Hin-
terbein und Rittigkeit weiter gibt. Aus diesem Grund habe ich anWeihegold nicht nur als
Sportpartner sondern auch als Zuchtstute eine Menge Spaß.“

eatrice Buchwald: “When I sawWeihegold for the first time in the stables,
I thought she can’t be the super mare I’ve been hearing about. She was
standing in the middle of an aisle full of horses with her head hanging down so
far that her bottom lip nearly reached the floor. But I soon noticed that that is ex-
actly that what makes this mare so remarkable – on the one hand she’s totally
cool, well-balanced and can be handled by any child, but as soon as it’s time to go
to work, she’s a real worker bee and gives her rider one-thousand percent. In just
one year she went from second to fourth level classes for young dressage horses
and her series of victories in St. Georg as well as her qualification for the Burg-
Pokal speak volumes. Three equally good gaits, strong hind legs, ability to be
collected and a fighting spirit all in one horse are what makeWeihegold an abso-
lutely exceptional horse, in my opinion.
And now that I have had two of her offspring under saddle and have seenWeihe-
gold’s other offspring, it is really amazing how they have all inherited her charac-
ter, hind legs and rideability.That is why I have enjoyedWeihegold so much, not
only as a partner in sport but also as a broodmare.”
