The Future in Focus: Elite Foals of the 102nd Fall Auction
Powerful dam lines are the cornerstone of Oldenburg horse breeding. However, the foals at this year's 102nd Fall Elite Auction impress not only with their lineage: International top sport stallions and exceptional sires such as Dynamic Dream, Cornet Obolensky, Eldorado van de Zeshoek, For Romance I, Kjento, Vitalis, and V-Power enrich the pedigrees of the youngest auction candidates.
Champion mare Benice is the dam: Kyano by Kjento - Benefit - Stedinger. A modern youngster with an outstanding dressage background from the double world champion Kjento/ Charlotte Fry, GBR. His dam is the celebrated 2022 Oldenburg champion mare Benice by Benefit, who started her career as a foal at the Vechta auction. Great-granddam Unique is the sister of Grand Prix star Dandelion OLD/Uta Gräf. From the Uthoba dam line come the Grand Prix successful Gut Wettlkam’s Stand by me OLD/Lisa Müller, Sandro Boy/Lyndal Oatley, AUS, as well as Olympic star Jimmie Choo/ Mads Hendeliowitz, SWE.
Granddam is sister to Emerald van het Ruytershof: Chief Cornet by Cornet Obolensky - Cayenne van de Helle - Diamant De Semilly. Granddam Diamanthina was highly successful in sport in 1.60 m courses with Constant van Paesschen, BEL, and produced numerous top horses such as the licensed Le Blue Diamond van’t Ruytershof, who won team bronze at the 2021 European Championships under Olivier Philippaerts, BEL. She is the full sister of Global Champion Tour winner Emerald van het Ruytershof, among others, who jumped at international championships under Harrie Smolders/NED and is on his way to following in the footsteps of his famous sire in terms of breeding.
Brother of three high-paid exceptional foals: For Diamond by For Romance I - Diamond Hit - Landadel. Dam Diamond Lady is sister to the licensed Charme and Lord of Loxley/Grand Prix successful with Hans Peter Minderhoud, NED, and has already produced two top foals with six-figure prices: Floral Hit by Florenz in 2016 and For Austria by For Romance I in 2017. For Austria has now been licensed and was qualified for the Bundeschampionat. She also produced the top foal Fiorissimo by For Romance I for Canada.
Dam is 1.45 m successful: Elvis by Eldorado van de Zeshoek - Catoki - Parabol. Sire Eldorado van de Zeshoek is one of the top international Dutch stallions under Willem Greve. He has already made a top name for himself as a sire. His most successful offspring includes Killer Queen/Daniel Deußer. Dam Cassidy M was herself highly successful in the sport and achieved numerous 1.40 m victories and 1.45 m placings. Cassidy M is the sister of two successful 1.40 m horses. From the dam line of numerous licensed stallions.
