
US-Americans in a shopping mood
An enthusiastic Oldenburg show jumper customer, also from the USA, secured three Oldenburg show jumping mares: Orlanda by Ogano - Landjonker - Contango, bred by Aloys Lampe, Dwergte, exhibited by Helmut Lampe, Molbergen, for 32,000 Euros, Donna Imma by Diaron - Pontifex - Potsdam, bred by Frerk Rohde, Brake, exhibited by Steffen Wohlers, Weyhe, for 20,500 Euros, and Grace by Balou du Rouet - Cornet's Prinz - Grundstein II, bred and exhibited by Dorothee Hengemühle, Lastrup, for 14,500 Euros.
The price highlight of the 10th Oldenburger Special Edition is QC Fortnite from the dressage lot. The strong-moving bay by Franziskus - Belissimo M - Sir Donnerhall I was knocked down for 60,500 Euros. The five-year-old was bred by Wieghaus-Vorwerk GbR, Neuenkirchen-Vörden, and exhibited by Marita Pundsack, Cappeln. Dam Marybelle is the sister of the licensed Veto and the Intermediaire I winner Boulevard de la croisette OLD/Katrin Knetsch.
"I was really pleased that the numerous families, who tried out their favorite candidate on site in Vechta got their favorite," reports Roland Metz, managing director of the Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH.
Almost a third, six out of 23 auction candidates, were purchased by Oldenburg friends from abroad. In the future, they will bring joy in the USA (4), France (1) and India (1). The average price of the 10th Oldenburger Special Edition was around 23,000 Euros and a turnover of 520,000 Euros.
