Film series "Horse Evaluation and Linear Description"

The Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association wants to support its breeders in their own breeding management as much as possible. For that matter, the association provides genetic profiles of breeding stallions and the digital Oldenburg pairing program. In the last few months, information about horse evaluation in form of videos has been spread via our social media, and are now easily accessible as a whole playlist on our youtube channel.

One mission of the Oldenburg Breeding Association is to help interested breeders in understanding the evaluation of horses more. The film series “Horse evaluation and linear description” explains how the horse’s anatomy influences the feeling while riding. Further, knowing the functional correlations and being able to alter relevant breeding characteristics specifically is of great importance in breeding horses.
