Future star for New Zealand: The price highlight of the 7th Oldenburger Special Edition, the elite foal Fynn the Great by Fynch Hatton - Florenz - Bordeaux, moved to New Zealand for 47,000 Euros. The strong-moving stallion prospect was bred by Andreas Kamphaus from Lohne. Granddam Raskya has already sired three elite auction foals in Vechta: Florieux and Floribeaux, both by Florenz, as well as Viteaux by Vitalis, and is the sister of the Intermediaire I winning Salisbury Hill by Serano Gold/Catharina Brüser.
The OS colt Chesterfield by Chacoon Blue - Cascadello I - Heraldik xx, bred by Günther Fielmann, Schierensee, advanced to the top price of the jumping foals. For 23,500 Euros, a German show jumping stable secured this youngster from a family that is used to success. Dam Festel was the 2016 Champion Mare in Holstein and is sister to the 1.40 m successful Viktoria by Cristo/Gerd Geyer and the CCI4* successful Olympian Vitali by Contender/Tim Price, NZL. From the 3317 line: the licensed Dominator Z/1.60 m successful with Christian Ahlmann.
In total, the 34 foals were sold at auction generating a total turnover of 573,500 Euros. On average, the foals leveled off at 15,000 Euros. 16 Oldenburg young stars will move abroad bringing joy for the future. In detail, they will move to Sweden (3), Belgium (2), Austria (2), Colombia (2), the USA (2), Denmark (1), New Zealand (1), the Netherlands (1), Spain (1) and Hungary (1).
Dressage star becomes price leader in riding horse collection: New customers from Madrid/Spain can look forward to a great time with Blue Hope. The impressive chestnut was discovered by the Spanish Oldenburg agent Cristina Figueroa during daily training in Vechta. For 41,000 Euros, the Spanish dressage stable secured the son of Bordeaux - Sandro Hit - De Niro, bred by Karin Rinnen, Duisburg, and exhibited by Linda Erbe, Krefeld.
The average price of the sport horse collection achieved over 23,000 Euros. 19 sport horses fetched a total of 447,750 Euros. Five Oldenburgers will have international careers, moving to Australia (2), Spain (1), Switzerland (1), and the USA (1).
"The quality of the collection was rewarded by a very attractive average price. At the same time, the first-class online handling in combination with the well-known hospitality and top infrastructure in Vechta is a guarantee for the satisfaction of national and international customers," said Oldenburg auctioneer Thorsten Castle.
