The nephew of Dante Weltino OLD Las Cruces by Las Vegas - Vivaldi - Welt Hit II stood out as the top-priced foal. With a knockdown price of 67,000 euros, the movement-genius colt received the top bid. Las Cruces is bred by Olaf Bahls from Voigtsdorf, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The stallion prospect was sold to an international dressage stable in Great Britain. His dam Ronja is sister to the top sire and Swedish championship horse Dante Weltino OLD/Therese Nilshagen, SWE. Granddam Rihanna is sister to Riwera de Hus, Olympic participant in London under Jessica Michel, FRA.
Valentin by Va Bene - Sir Donnerhall I - Depardieu, bred by Ulrike Finck-Deichner, Homberg, Hesse, and exhibited by Gestüt Wäldershausen, Homberg, became the second most expensive foal in the collection. For 26,000 euros, the picture-perfect dancer will remain at a dressage stable in Germany. Dam Escapade is sister to Ennigaldi, who already brought auction price top Marco Polo by Marc Cain for 110,000 euros as well as to former auction horse Egalina de Luxe, who is successful in Great Britain. From the renowned mare line of Egale/Egatine: The Grand Prix horses Elisienne/Nicki Grandia, USA, London Eye OLD/Simone Kruse and Oldenburg champion stallion Don Deluxe.
The charming A Pleasure to have by Aganix du Seigneur Z - Diamant de Semilly - Erco van't Roosakker bred by Pferdezucht Blüggel GbR, Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia, topped the price statistics among the show jumping aspirants. The Aganix son was knocked down for 21,000 euros to a well-known show jumping stable in northern Germany. Dam Orfee VDB is 1.50 m successful/Daniel Oppermann. Numerous of the dam's siblings are licensed or jumping at 1.60 m level, such as: Electra van't Roosakker/Jos Lansink, BEL, Cella/Ben Maher, GBR, Equador/Frederic David, FRA, Erco van't Roosakker/Lorenzo de Luca, ITA, Mufasa/Emilie Conter, BEL, or Dourkhan Hero Z/Christian Ahlmann.
Numerous regular customers secured their young star online. Foreign countries again showed great interest in the Oldenburg quality foals. 26 of a total of 67 foals sold at auction went to Great Britain (10), Portugal (3), Sweden (3), the Netherlands (2), Colombia (2), Austria (2), Spain (2), Poland (1) and Switzerland (1). At the Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction, sales of 873,500 euros were realized. The average price settled at 13,000 euros.
