Exciting Days in Vechta

Right at the very beginning of spring, outstanding equestrian sport will be offered in Vechta. From April 5th to 7th, all interested parties are invited to come to the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta and experience the excitement of the event personally. Guests from all over the world as well as many horse fans from the region will be coming to Vechta to watch the exciting duels between bidders.

Starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7th, the fascinating young horses at the 88th Oldenburg Spring Elite Auction will be ready for their big day in Vechta. Around 45 Oldenburg sport horses as well as highly promising young stallions will be knocked-down. You are cordially invited to spend a wonderful afternoon enjoying the Vechta Auction in its attractive atmosphere and see top horses that are in a class of their own.

On Wednesday, April 4th, starting at 6:00 p.m., the dressage horses in the Elite Auction will charm you in a grand, special presentation that imitates the atmosphere of a show.

On Thursday, April 5th, the focus in Vechta will be on the young stallions at the innovative Saddle Licensing. Along with an inspection on hard ground, the young stallions will also be presented under saddle followed by a guest rider test. Some of these young stallions will be found in the lot of auction horses in the Elite Auction and sold. If you can’t make it to the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta on Thursday, you have the possibility of watching the 7th Saddle Licensing live on our website at www.oldenburger-pferde.com.

On Friday, April 6th, starting at 7:00 p.m. the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta will present the Spring Evening Parade of the 88th Spring Elite Auction. During an intermezzo, the stallions from the 7th Oldenburg Saddle Licensing will be awarded premiums and the Champion Stallion celebrated.

Visitors will be welcome at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta during the entire auction week. Seating tickets for the Spring Elite Auction on Saturday, April 7th can be purchased for 10.00 Euro. Entrance is free all other days.
