Book tip: Vererbungsprofile 2018 incl. English template

Each year, many breeders are faced with a large number of questions in choosing the right stallion for their broodmare. The Oldenburg Horse Breeders Association has now compiled in-depth answers to all these questions about selecting the ideal stallion for your mare in its new book, "Vererbungsprofile 2018”.

the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Association sees it as its duty to never stop moving forward in supporting your horse breeding goals as best it can. Together with you we would like to continue to promote modern horse breeding. A further important aspect of this is the use of new methods and sources of information. Here, the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Association has broken new ground in recent years with the introduction of linear description. Viewed initially with much skepticism, linear description has meanwhile established itself firmly in the breeding program of the Oldenburg Association, and is valued and demanded by many breeders. Now we’re going one step further and expanding our service with hereditary profiles of the stallions used for Oldenburg breeding. These profiles provide the ambitious breeder with an additional and valuable source of information for his or her own breeding work. The publication of the hereditary profiles is a result of the confidence in linear description which has developed over many years, a comprehensive and proven database, and public long-standing interest in more information for breeding use, especially on stallions.
