On the final day of the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions held at the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation headquarters in New Jersey, Adrienne Lyle and Horizon, born 2007, by Hotline out of Revue by Don Schufro, bred by Frank Grote, Neuenkirchen-Vörden, Germany, and owned by Elizabeth Juliano, USA, danced into first place overall in the Intermediate I championship after earning a freestyle score of 75.5 percent. The freestyle score pushed her overall division percentage to 70.976. “Horizon is an over-achiever; that mare is just so fun and on in the show ring. She has a heart that I think is bigger than any horse I have ridden; she is a blast,” Lyle said with a smile. “What I loved about Horizon today was her harmony, composure, and softness in the ring; I really appreciate that from her.” Horizons dam line brought also the licensed stallions Rustin by Rubinstein I and Sandro’s Heir by Sandro Hit.
