Oldenburgs shine in Wellington and Thermal
Anaconda D, OS, born 2007, by Artani out of Quisine by Quantus - Emigrant, bred by Patricia Duchac, Hann Münden-Lippoldshausen, Germany, and owned and ridden by Nicolette Hirt, USA, took fourth place in a class for under 25-year-old riders. Granddam Else gave birth to the licensed stallion Little Dream by Landor S and La Luc by Landadel, who won ribbons in 1.40 m show jumping classes under Daniel Dassler.
Arino du Rouet, OS, born 2005, by Larino out of Garlanda by Baloubet du Rouet, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Two Swans Farm, USA, won bronze in a 1.40 m show jumping test in Wellington under Todd Minikus. Dam Garlanda also gave birth to the advanced level show jumpers Kanonja by Kannan under Emma Augier de Moussac, Conlando by Conterno Grande with Bernd Döller in the saddle, Centoubet by Cento under Jonathan Gordon as well as the licensed stallion Chablis Premier by Chacco-Blue.
Balou’s Fly High, born 2007, by Balou du Rouet out of Alianz by Grandeur, bred by Stall Troff, Jemgum, Germany, and owned by Suave Pony Llc, USA, placed third in a 1.40 m show jumping test in Wellington under Keri Kampsen. When bred to Balou du Rouet, dam Alianz produced the advanced level show jumpers Baloue and Baloue’s Flying sister for Diana Bülles.
Brilliant du Rouet, OS, born 2005, by Balou du Rouet out of Faretana by Caretani Z, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Liubov Kochetova & Roberto Teran, Colombia, won silver in a 1.40 m show jumping test with Roberto Teran Tafur in Wellington.
Casper, OS, born 2006, by Contender out of Falubet by Baloubet du Rouet, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Sky Group, USA, placed fourth under Sharn Wordley in Wellington in a 1.50 m show jumping test. Dam Falubet also gave birth to Cabanus by Cartoon, who won ribbons in international show jumping tests under Andreas Schou.
Cassandra, born 2007, by Chacco-Blue out of Ecatrin by Calero - Harnisch/Trakehner, bred by Jürgen Alswede, Bramsche, Germany, and owned by Louisburg Farm, USA, and Paris Sellon placed sixth in a 1.50 m show jumping test in Wellington. Dam Ecatrin gave birth to the advanced level show jumpers Celin by Chacco-Blue under Marcel Alswede, Ferrarie by Fly High with Michael Heckmann in the saddle as well as Camelita by Calido under Geradus Krijnen.
Chaco, OS, born 2007, by Chacco-Blue out of Lolande by Colander - Landadel, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Maidensway, USA, and Rodrigo Pessoa from Brazil won a 1.40 m show jumping test in Wellington. Granddam London gave birth to the international Grand Prix horses Centadel by Cento under Bastian Freese and Florian Meyer zu Hartum as well as Quilando by Quintender with Chantal Regter from the Netherlands.
Comanche, OS, born 2006, by Coupe de Coeur out of Pialou by Baloubet du Rouet, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Artemis Equestrian Farm Llc, USA, triumphed under Markus Beerbaum in a 1.40 m show jumping test. Due to an injury of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum her husband Markus Beerbaum took over the ride of Comanche. Under the name Baloupetra dam Pialou is successful in international show jumping classes with Markus Merschformann. Via embryo transfer Pialou gave birth to the international show jumpers Carinou by Carinue under Philipp Weishaupt and Ludger Beerbaum and Tailormade Chaloubet by Chacco-Blue. The dam line is also the origin of Toulago by Toulon, who collects ribbons with Adrienne Sternlicht in the saddle.
Concetto Son, born 2004, by Concetto out of Delgarda by Drosselklang II, bred by Silke Osterkamp, Rechtsupweg, Germany, and owned by Thomas Fuchs, Switzerland, and Laura Jane Tidball took fourth place in a 1.40 m show jumping test in Thermal. Dam Delgarda was successful in advanced level show jumping tests under Hilmar Meyer. Full sister C’est la Vie under Nick Rademaker is also successful at advanced level. Concetto Son's sister Last Flight by Lord Pezi gave birth to the Grand Prix winner of Neumünster in Germany Clinta by Clinton under Philip Rüping.
Fellini, OS, born 2006, by For Pleasure out of Velvet Lady Sent by Phin Phin, bred by Richard Grom, Dasing, Germany, and owned by Mountain Home Stables, USA, led the honor round under Taylor Siebel in a 1.40 m show jumping test in Thermal. In this case as well, his dam Velvet Lady Sent placed in two-star, 1.45 m tests with Maciej Chomiak.
La Mirage, OS, born 2008, Lordanos out of Zoraya-Carmen by Calypso II, bred by Dr. Peter Rieglhofer, Austria, and owned by Aimwell Equestrian Ventures Llc, USA, and William Simpson won a 1.40 m show jumping test in Thermal and took fifth place in the Grand Prix.
Manodie II H, OS, born 2005, by Carthago out of Monodie by Zeus, bred by Gerhard Hügenell, Freinsheim, Germany, and owned by Gotham Enterprises Llc, USA, and her rider Georgina Bloomberg were delighted with their fourth place in a 1.45 m show jumping test as well as a sixth place in another show jumping test in Wellington. Dam Monodie won more than 20 advanced level show jumping tests under Andreas Rubly and is also the dam of Monodie H, a full sister who is presently highly successful under David Will.
Royce, born 2004, by Cafe au lait out of Petula by Grandilot, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Germany, and owned by Elm Rock Partners Llc, USA, and Margie Engle took sixth place in Wellington in the Challenge Cup. Dam Petula is also the dam of Adilot by Ars Vivendi who competes internationally under Thomas Holz at ***-star level. Royce carries the bloodline of the jumper-maker Pilot in his pedigree and comes from the mare family of Melissa by Maistern. This line also produced a licenced stallion named Caligula by Cornet Obolensky who successfully competes internationally under Oleg Krasyuk.
The Dude, OS, born 2006, by Carry Gold out of Honey Moon by Argentinus, bred by Guido Anneken, Löningen, Germany, and owned by Nicole Walker, Canada, and his American rider, William Simpson, won an advanced level show jumping test in Thermal. The Dude was discovered at the 2010 Fall Elite Auction in Vechta.
