Christmas Shopping in Vechta
For the top price of 130,000 Euros, a young jumping amazone from the UK found her unique Christmas present in Vechta: the six-year-old high flyer Landlord by Levisonn - Quintender - Fürst Heinrich, bred by Friedbert Ohsmer, Ganderkesee, already successful in 1.35 m jumping tests and finalist of this year’s DKB Bundeschampionat. "Here, huge scope is paired with the highest level of motivation and carefulness in the course," emphasizes auctioneer Fabian Kühl.
Second price peak with a surcharge: the beautiful Fashion in Black by Fürstenball OLD - Swarovski - Manstein, bred by Willi Müller from Essen, was knocked-down for 95,000 Euros. The charming stallion will move to a young dressage rider in Argentina who had her first pre-Christmas trip to Vechta.
The third rang on the price list was the beautiful Skyline by San Amour I - Rohdiamant - Donnerhall, bred by Elisabeth Münstermann, Werl-Holtum. The magnificent mare moved to a prestigious dressage stable in Switzerland for 50,000 Euros.
Oldenburg fans from abroad purchased 20 of the 35 horses. The Oldenburg horses will bring joy to their new owners in Spain (7), Switzerland (3), Argentina (2), Belgium (2), Italy (2), USA (2), Great Britain (1) and Sweden (1). "Overall, the 63rd Winter Mixed Sales is a wonderful end of our auction year with the best result of an intermediate auction", summarizes Thomas Rhinow, Sales Manager of the dressage horses.
