Celebrated Main Premium Winners

Two newcomers, Asgard’s Ibiza und Ogano, shined as the celebrated Oldenburg main premium winners. When deciding which stallion is to receive a main premium, not only the stallion’s achievements in sport but also the result of his performance test and, even more important, the quality of his first foal crop, are deciding factors.

Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International awarded the main premium to Ogano, born 2012, by Ogano Sitte out of Jamaica van de Beemden by Diarado - Cantus, bred by Willy Hendrix from Belgium, and owned by Gerd Sosath from Lemwerder, Germany. His 30-day test in Schlieckau, the son of the international successful Ogano Sitte finished with a final jumping score of 8.15. In his sport test this year he got a final score of 9.2.

The main premium in the dressage sector went to Asgard’s Ibiza, born 2013, by Desperado out of Bolympia W by Jazz - Contango, bred by Luc Boogert from the Netherlands, and owned by Hengsthaltung Vasco Janke from Jesteburg, Germany. Asgard’s Ibiza was licensed 2015 in Vechta and has already sent offspring to the Oldenburg Elite Foal Auctions. The strong-moving stallion finished his 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a final dressage score of 8.81.
