The gelding is called “Dude” and Kittel knows exactly what he has in the Dr. Dootlittle son:“What is absolutely overwhelming about Dude is that he is like in a tunnel in the arena. He is so focused, gives ev- erything and wants to make absolutely no mistakes.”As a result, the pair piaffed over 30 times to finish first to third at interna- tional Grand Prix level and were instrumental in winning team bronze at the European Championships in Gothenburg. In 2019, they also finished sixth in the World Cup Final. Delaunay was discovered as a foal at the Vechta Fall Elite Auction. Like the li- censed stallions Diamonit I and II by Diamond Hit and Fackelt- anz OLD by Florencio I, he comes from the Fackila dam line. D elaunay OLD, geb. 2006, v. Dr. Doolittle a.d. Fara v. Er ist so fokussiert, gibt alles und will absolut keine Fehler machen.“ Über 30 Mal piaffierte das Paar so auf die Plätze eins bis drei auf internationalem Grand Prix-Niveau und trug maßgeblich zu Team-Bronzemedaille bei den Europameister- schaften in Göteborg bei. 2019 erreichten sie zudem Platz sechs im Weltcup-Finale. Delaunay OLD wurde als Fohlen auf der Herbst Elite-Auktion 2006 in Vechta entdeckt. Er stammt wie die gekörten Hengste Diamonit I und II v. Diamond Hit sowie Fackeltanz OLD v.
