In a big atmosphere he becomes even bigger himself. He knows that it is his performance and that is exactly what I try to promote in training: his self-confidence, he should feel good all around. I’m not particularly tall myself, so it’s enormously important that the horse enjoys working with me.” DanteWeltino paraded as a foal in the Fall Elite Auction. Der 14-jährige Hengst vertrat die schwedischen Farben auf den Europameisterschaften in Göteborg/SWE und in Rotterdam/NED sowie bei denWeltreiter- spielen Tryon/USA. „Dante Weltino ist so etwas wie ein freund- licher Matcho“, beschreibt ihn Therese Nilshagen. „Er weiß, dass er das beste Pferd ist und er mag große Arenen. In großer Atmo- sphäre wird er selbst auch noch größer. Er weiß, dass es sein Auf- tritt ist und genau das versuche ich imTraining auch zu fördern: sein Selbstbewusstsein, er soll sich rundum gut fühlen. Ich bin selbst nicht besonders groß und da ist es enorm wichtig, dass das Pferd Spaß daran hat, mit mir zu arbeiten.“ 2007 paradierte Dante Weltino als Fohlen in der Herbst Elite-Auktion. 2009 begeisterte er als Reservesieger der Oldenburger Körung.
