The title of reserve champion goes to the elastic jumping bay son of Asterix de Couleur out of Nea's Caretina by Caretinus-Controller-Zeus, bred by Josef Kathmann and exhibited by the Kathmann stud farm in Hausstette.
His dam Nea's Caretina already gave birth to Nea's Fantastica by Flic en Flac AA, the 1c brilliant ring mare at this year's Elite Mare Show in Rastede. Granddam Nea's Lady K produced the licensed Catapult by Cartogran. The 1c premium stallion, a chestnut son of the elite stallion Comme il faut out of Rivalin I by Calido I-Carolus I-Rocadero, bred by Hans Trainer from Austria and exhibited by Hans Trainer Gestüt Neugschwent, shone with his powerful stride.
His dam Rivalin has already produced two S-level successful horses with My Lady Carthago by Mylord Carthago/Delaney Flynn, USA, and Neugschwent's Hellena by Vleut/Luis Frey. The winner's sash of the Verbandes der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V. (OL) was awarded to a jet-black son of Bonds out of the elite and state premium mare Faszination by Diamond Hit-Florencio I-Santander H, bred by Hans and Britta Scherbring from Visbek and exhibited by Anne Haase from Ottersberg.
His dam Faszination paraded at the Brillantring in Rastede in 2012 and has already produced three offspring who are successful in the advanced class. His great-grandmother, the elite and association premium mare Francesca, produced four Grand Prix horses when paired with Diamond Hit.
Ten years after Anne Haase and Wilhelm Sieverding presented Bonds as the champion stallion, she has now achieved this feat once again alongside her daughter Katrin Krüger. Anne Haase discovered her champion stallion as a foal at the auction in Vechta.
Breeding manager Peer Eitenmüller said of the champion stallion: ‘Twelve S-level horses in the first three generations, including five Grand Prix winners, speak for themselves, and this stallion wants to be one too. He always presented himself in a balanced and composed manner when lunged at a canter and also impressed with a spectacular trot and a very good walk.’
The charming and expressive dark chestnut stallion by Dynamic Dream out of Donna Franka by Fidertanz-De Niro-Sergeant Pepper, bred and exhibited by Elisabeth Wegert from Dinklage, was delighted to win silver in the premium lot.
