Over the weekend, Oldenburg show jumping and dressage horses delivered outstanding results in both the USA and Canada.
CDI*** Thermal, USA:
Drombusch OLD, born 2011, by Destano out of Elite Mare Wicomaggia by Dimaggio – Likoto xx – Donnerschwee – Figaro – Vollkorn xx, bred by Ralf Stienke, Berge, owned by Felicitas Hendricks, Hagen. Together with Felicitas Hendricks, he secured Bronze in a ***** Grand Prix. Drombusch descends from the famous Weissena dam line, which also produced the multi-champion Weihegold OLD by Don Schufro.
Florisson, born 2013, by Füchtels Floriscount OLD out of Elite Mare D-Cassina by Glock’s Johnson TN, bred by Nicole Wanning, Schüttorf, owned by Ann Damiano, USA, led the lap of honour under Cindy Jackson in a **** Grand Prix and celebrated Silver in the Grand Prix Special. In combination with Zackerey, D-Cassina produced the Oldenburg main premium candidate Calysta as well as the S-level successful Verrenberg by Vilancio.
R U 4 Me, born 2016, by Rosenthal out of U4 Me by Uphill, bred by Hannah Heritage, owned by Molly Martin, USA. With Molly Martin, the gelding celebrated victory in an Intermediaire I, Silver in an Intermediaire I Freestyle, and Bronze in a Prix St George.

Dressage:
Finnländerin, born 2010, by Fidertanz out of Elite Mare Ferna by Donnerhall – Pik Bube I, bred by Xavier Marie, France, owned by Gilles Bergeron and Camille Carier Bergeron, Canada. With Camille Carier Bergeron of Canada, the mare claimed Silver in a Grand Prix as well as in a Grand Prix Freestyle. Finnländerin originates from the renowned Finnländerin dam line. Her dam Ferna is the sister of the licensed Olympic stallion Don Schufro by Donnerhall under Andreas Helgstrand. As a foal, the chestnut mare captivated audiences at the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta and has already produced the State Premium mare Festival by Sandro Hit.
Toronto Lightfoot, born 2013, by Totilas out of Okima Lightfoot by Onassis – Michellino, bred by Stutteri Lightfoot, Denmark, owned by Scott Durkin, USA, placed fourth in a Grand Prix under Meagan Davis (USA).
Show Jumping:
Baretino PS, OS, born 2015, by Baloubet du Rouet out of Stakkaretina by Stakkatol, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Ashlynn Crowley and John Jamieson, Canada, finished fifth in an S*** class and eighth in a 1.60 m class with Carly Campbell-Cooper.
Casino Calvin, OS, born 2013, by Casino Berlin OLD out of Clonee Temple Z by Calvin, bred by Marleen Diedrichs, Hannover, owned by Tara Dow-Rein, Rein Family LLC., Canada. With Kyle Timm, the gelding took fifth place in an S**** class, eighth in a World Cup class (S*****), and eleventh in an S** class. His half-brother Casper Mado by Casall is also successful at advanced level.
Cosm Hesed, OS, born 2014, by Christian out of Gerona by Lord Z, bred by Bernhard and Christian Sieve, Lohne, owned by Mirasol Equestrian LLC. With Kaitlin Campbell (USA), the gelding claimed Bronze in an S** class and finished eighth in an S*** class. Cosm Hesed was discovered at the 2014 Elite Foal Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Centre Vechta.
Costa Quick PS, OS, born 2014, by Conthargos out of Quick Palm by Quick Star, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Aram Ambagoumian LLC, USA. Under Canadian rider Mario Deslauriers, the stallion impressed with Bronze in an S*** class and sixth place in a 1.60 m class. His dam Quick Palm also produced three further S-level successful horses: Vampire by Vigo d’Arsouilles, Car de Priamos by Come On, and Par de Priamos by Padarco.
Lamkel Ze TB, OS, born 2016, by Messenger out of Chaccerta by Chacco-Blue, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, owned by Rein Family, USA. The gelding delighted with fourth place under France’s Nina Mallevaey in an S* class and seventh place in an S** class.
