13.04.2025

The 103rd Oldenburg Elite Auction shone with top results, happy customers from around the world, and the newly crowned Oldenburg Champion Stallion as the price highlight. One-third of the auction candidates were sold to Oldenburg fans across the globe.

The Champion Stallion of the 14th Oldenburg Saddle Licensing, Zarenstern, born in 2022, by Zuperman out of Relaunch by San Amour I - Don Schufro - Lord Liberty G, bred and exhibited by the breeding partnership Gut Füchtel of the von Merveldt family from Vechta, topped the auction. The charming dancer was sold for €150,000 to a renowned stallion station in Sweden. His third dam, Rhapsodie, also produced the licensed and Grand Prix-successful Detroit by Dimaggio/Anna Zibrandtsen (DEN) and the Grand Prix-winning Rhapsodie Queen by De Niro/Isabell Werth.

Also breaking the €100,000 mark was the brilliant Dynamic Prince, born in 2021, by Dynamic Dream out of Balltänzerin by Foundation - Dimaggio, bred by Andrea Kotschofsky, Visbek, and exhibited by Flicka Ventures GmbH, Berlin. Dynamic Prince was sold for €117,000 into Olympic hands in the United Kingdom. He hails from the internationally renowned Blankenese line, which has already produced highly successful dressage horses and licensed stallions. The same stable also welcomed the beautiful Roxana Girl, born in 2021, by Rockabye S out of Stella Girl by Stedinger - Donnerschlag, bred by J. J. Blonk, Lienen, for €25,500.

Roland Metz, auction manager and managing director of Oldenburg Horse Breeding and Marketing GmbH, was pleased with the strong interest already during the tryouts: “Numerous clients took the opportunity to see the horses on site – many of them purchased their new riding horse directly here in Vechta. A successful start to the auction year for riding horses.”

The reserve champion stallion Invictus Negro, born in 2022, by Ibiza Dream out of Finesse by Florestan I - Rubinstein I - Weltmeyer, bred by Simone Weidenhöfer, Bergen, and exhibited by Marvin Klausing, Diepholz, was sold for €75,000 to the stable of Rom Vermunt from the Netherlands. The black stallion will be trained by a world-class rider. His dam line includes licensed and Grand Prix-winning horses such as Freudentänzer by Franziskus/Ingrid Klimke and Damon Hill by Donnerhall/Helen Langehanenberg.

The top jumping offer was Annabel, born in 2018, by Aganix du Seigneur Z out of S-Constanze by Corrado I - Lord, bred by Stud Eichenhain, Blender. Annabel was sold for €50,000 to a successful international show jumping stable in Germany. Her dam was highly successful in 1.40 m classes with Markus Beerbaum and is the sister of a licensed stallion and two S-level successful horses. The line 776 also produced influential sires like Ramiro, Acorado I and II, and Lordanos.
