Champion Stallion tops the price list
The OS Champion Stallion by Cornet's Carpaccio RT out of Lausanne by Los Angeles - Monte Bellini - Zapateado, bred by Wolfgang Schütte from Spelle and exhibited by Zuchthof René Tebbel from Emsbüren, was sold to the international top show jumper Denis Lynch from Ireland for 125,000 Euros.
The licensed stallion by Pegase van het Ruytershof out of Norah ES by Cascadello I - Cumano - Chellano Z, bred by E. Schep, Netherlands, exhibited by Schep International Trade BV, Netherlands, was knocked down to a renowned stallion station for 70,000 Euros.
The son of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of Emma by Emerald van het Ruytershof - Quaid I - Cornet Obolensky, bred and exhibited by Yvonne Trojahn from Meppen, was knocked down to Fabian Kühl from b-horses in Bovenau for 62,000 Euros.
As the most expensive unlicensed stallion, the son of Kassander van't Roosakker out of Calvadera Z by Calvados Z - Cassini I - Coriall, bred by Alwin Schockemöhle, Steinfeld, exhibited by Wolfgang Lamottke, St. Peter Ording, was knocked down to the USA for 44,000 Euros. The gray stallion will start his career in the hunter sport.
Almost a third, five out of 17 jumping stallions from the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS), will delight Oldenburg friends abroad in the future. Specifically, the stallions will move into their boxes in Belgium (2), the USA (2) and Ireland (1).
The OS Verband's show jumping stallions sold for a total of 857,000 Euros. Bidders had to invest an average of around 55,000 Euros for a licensed stallion. The unlicensed stallions cost an average of around 31,000 Euros.
