Oldenburg Summer Hits
The nine-year-old Roncevall OLD by Romanov Blue Hors - Donnerhall - Darling, bred by Jantje Borgers from Apen/Lower Saxony and exhibited by Crisol Sporthorses from Madrid/Spain from the stable of Oldenburg friend Cristina Figueroa de Bourbon, shone as the acclaimed price leader in the riding horse collection. For 100,000 Euros, the likeable dressage artist switches to dressage enthusiastic Olympic customers in Austria. Roncevall OLD was already Vice Champion of 4-year-old riding horses in Spain. Dam Doratha is sister to the Intermediaire II successful DMJ Rubens/Martina Hannöver-Sternberg. Sire Romanov Blue Hors was reserve champion at the Oldenburg licensing and won team silver at the European Championships in Herning under Dutchman Hans Peter Minderhoud.
The average price of the sport horse collection achieved over 28,000 Euros. 25 sport horses fetched a total of 706,500 Euros. 13 Oldenburg riding horses will have international careers, they moved to Belgium (2), France (2), Great Britain (2), Austria (2), USA (2), Italy (1), Russia (1), and Switzerland (1).
The top prize in the foal collection was the strong moving Follower by Follow Him's Schönweide - De Lorean - Sir Donnerhall I, bred and exhibited by Wieghaus-Vorwerk GbR from Neuenkirchen-Vörden/Lower Saxony. The stallion prospect changes for 45,000 Euros to a renowned and highly successful stallion raiser in Lower Saxony near the river Aller. Follower's sire is the Oldenburg main premium winner Follow Him's Schönweide.
Top sport genetics achieved top prices for foals at the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS): Cornetto Blue by Cornet Obolensky - Chacco-Blue - Indorado, bred and exhibited by Vixo s.r.o from Bratislava/Slovakia, became the top priced jumping foal. For 26,000 Euros the colt changes to a show jumping patron from Germany. Granddam Balou is sister to the 1.60 m successful Welldone by Calvados/Talal Alsaady, KSA, and Cleopra by Atlantic VDL/1.40 m with Morten Alexander Djupvik, NOR. The 1.60 m jumper horses Gancia de Muze/Niels Bruynseels, BEL, and Homer de Muze/Doron Kuipers, NED, also come from the same dam line.
A total of 31 foals sold at auction achieved a total turnover of 447,250 Euros. On average, the foals cost over 14,400 Euros. 13 Oldenburg young stars will bring joy abroad in the future. In detail, they moved to Hungary (5), Sweden (2), USA (2), Belgium (1), Denmark (1), Austria (1) and Spain (1).
